Anakin took a drastic turn for the worse. I let him go home. Don't know what I'll do with this blog.

Anakin has been a very sick kitty over the past couple weeks. I took him to the vet because I noticed something was wrong with his eyes; he had managed to develop an eye infection AND an anal gland infection at the same time. Now, just his eyes are still infected. I have to give him two different kinds of eye drops four times a day for the next seven days.

He’s such a sad little kitty right now. Took him to the eye specialist today. SO GLAD my mom went with me because it ended up costing so much.

Things are getting worse. Still no hard facts on what the problem is but it’s seeming more and more likely that his vision will suffer and possible disappear. We’ll probably be going to another specialist next week unless there’s an enormous positive change over the weekend. He’s on five medications, all given multiple times a day. Nobody has any idea what’s wrong with him, and according to the first specialist he’s a unique case. Which is fucking awesome.

I’ve wanted to cry for hours.

Prognosis: terminal. A few months at most. I've been crying for almost an hour.
