This first question was me and I just wanted to add a couple of clarifications.
First, I didn't say Cas was my third favorite. I said he was my very favorite character ever. Also when I started to ask the question, I was immediately interrupted and told no by the Creation person. I have a video of me with her extremely angry reaction next to me but I'm not crazy about the idea of posting a video of a stranger. Maybe I could try to figure out a way to blur her or something. But yeah, creation 100% tried to shut my question down.
I just don't understand how it's ok for Cliff to ask Jared about getting fucked in jail but how dare I ask about love that happened in canon!

I was so mad about this question last night that I drafted a post with a transcript but I said lemme just sleep on this first. I'm so mad in cw sniper. I'm so mad that they tried to stop you as if they can still censor fans when they had a canon love confession air on television.
I'm irate because it is so obvious that they have banned Misha from saying that Cas was love with Dean.
Misha's panel answer exactly mirrored answers Jensen's given on "not interpreting art. It is also complete bullshit. This 5 minute long rambling answer put the entire weekend in context for me, but it also needs its own context.
November 2020, four days after the episode aired, Misha called the confession Castiel's "homosexual declaration of love." There was no "interpretation" to define - there was no question about what Bobo, Misha, and Speight had intended when they wrote, acted, and directed that scene. (x)

By September Misha was calling it Cas's "Declaration of Love" but openly explained he had to fight to get it one the air. - Galaxy Con.
"I think him making that declaration of love… I cared about that. I fought for it. & ya know five years prior would’ve said, “There’s no fucking way they’ll let us do that.” (x)
In March 2021 Misha said in a digital answer that he's "not going to speak as Castiel because Warner Brothers has specifically forbidden it" (x) Even as other actors from the show do ridiculous things as their character on the regular (x)
In September 2021 at Momento Con Misha again said he had to fight for it and confirmed that Destiel questions used to be outright banned at cons. (x)
Now, nearly a year after the show ended they tried to stop OP from asking this question. There had only been one other question about Destiel all weekend. That's not a coincidence. Alex's face while the question was asked, Jensen's cautiousness when a fan asked when the actors knew Cas loved Dean.
They've clearly banned Misha from answering this question.

When - Cas's last scene. he says that - he says that there was something he knows that he wanted um, something he wanted but he knows he can't have. and I kind of felt like... he knows he has Dean's friendship. He knows that they're family and he knows that he's forgiven.
So I was wondering what your interpretation - of what Cas's ultimate - what he wants that he can't have.

but THIS?? misha has been (relatively) open lately about the confession and cas’ queerness, but as soon as he’s at a creation event he has to talk like this? and an actual real-life fan was fucking berated about it and was almost fucking silenced at the mic??? if they hadn’t been brave enough to ask into the mic if it’s allowed, and had Misha answer like that, they would have been silenced. fuck that.

The fact that Cas’ first secret was he’s beginning to feel. The fact that Cas’ last secret was he was feeling love. The fact that he confessed both, privately, to Dean.
ok IT HAPPENS IN 11x11 INTO THE MYSTIC BUT BEFORE I GET TO THE EXACT MOMENT. context:
1. casifer hand-on-shoulder. intimate moment ALL the crueler because we know it’s a deception. also this comes right on the heels of dean admitting that he has “a connection” with amara—he is evaluating what “attraction” means because he is desperately hoping he is NOT attracted to god’s evil sister. this means he has to think about what attraction DOES mean to him.
2. dean gets targeted by the banshee (because he is vulnerable. yes he WILL obsessively analyze what the shit that means)
3. mildred can tell he’s “pining” and tells him to “follow his heart”
in this episode dean has confronted 1) “cas” out of his jacket and also touching him 2) the definition of attraction 3) the fact that he has been targeted on account of some kind of vulnerability 4) the fact that he is Very Obviously romantically pining for somebody (who we KNOW is not amara, based on writer input). dean is THINKING. man is RUMINATING. keep that in mind here comes the pinpoint

and then for the final shot of the episode we get...slow zoom on his face...his staunch american man face....cut up and bruised and all alone in the darkness. he is VULNERABLE he is HAVING A MOMENT he is considering the fact that angels don’t have the equipment to care and that whenever they try they break apart.
please let me stress how absolutely long and devoid of any other focus this scene is. we are watching his epiphany and his reaction to WHAT? to what he has been percolating on all day. someone pointing out how heartsick he is (NOT for amara) the way he feels around amara (NOT attraction) so what is his epiphany? what is he so conflicted over? he’s figured it out. connections attraction pining following his heart. the way he feels around cas. the way he feels about cas. he can’t follow his FUCKING heart

BULLET TWO another piece of the puzzle falls into place. how come dean knows cas better than sam? theyve known each other the same amount of time. open concern about him....but not too open. not TOO vulnerable. mr thompson....

the thing people forget about the classic deancas scenes, and that i frankly appreciate for its comedic effect, is the absolutely jarring contrast to whatever the fuck sam is doing at the time - dean and cas having their little “here’s your coat back” moment while sam is strapped to a chair getting electroshocked by a demon vs. dean almost getting beat up to death by cas in that crypt while sam is spray painting and telling meg the entire story of his last breakup
Okay, I know this was about early seasons Deancas scenes but I’m bringing this post back because I rewatching 15x18 (AKA the “church wedding” scene) and CANNOT stop laughing at the fact that while Dean and Cas are discussing what to do with the Occultum…
…Poor Sam is SINGLE-HANDEDLY holding down the doors against a pack of literal hellhounds.
And the scene just keeps jumping back to him! While they’re just talkin’! And he is literally struggling for his entire life!!
Even when Jack disappears!! They just keep standing there arguing!! Instead of going to help Sam hold down the doors!! Dean, who was once traumatically killed by hellhounds!! Cas, who canonically can lift an anvil!!
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE PLEASE GO HELP THIS POOR BOY
Don’t forget when Sam was being tortured by Miss British while Dean and Cas had their little guy reunion and Mary contemplated her eldest son’s sexuality
