citrinitas (kitrinitaz) in podjak formal dress.

citrinitas amoiseé is the conservative soisson spelling of their name, the vernacular podja-senavolsh would be kitrinitaz (or kitrìnitadz) amvasi and include their matronym pernejaré. senavolsh do not traditionally take surnames, only matronyms. foreigners residing in the city take on the trade matronym [surname] eijaré meaning "of not but the family [surname]". born podjaks of recently foreign descent (usually wealthy) do take on a proper matronym but keep keep their surname. eijaré was originally a kind of epithet for orphans and exiles before the time of the kunninarvoisa, as it continues to be beyond the city proper, but it has on an ironic or poetic aspect. witches, heroes, and actors are all eijaréaks. citrini's mother pernelle (amoiseé) eijaré does not use her surname. maybe citrini will drop their own surname one day, too. but i could not say
