Hello!~ My name is Spring. I'm 40yrs old cat lady that has 2 cats Kino and Hermes. I've been really into anime well over 20 yrs lol. and i use to actually blog on my friends anime blog yearrrrss ago. Lately ive been thinking about that, and how I miss it. I know that blogging about anime is kinda outdated as most people use videos now. But theres something fun about watching a series than rambling on about it lol.
I also really missed talking about episodes when they aired. I miss having people to talk about it with, so i decided to start this blog. I'll mostly be blogging about anime, but i might include other stuff like mangas im reading, maybe some games. (i like playing cozy games and otome games).
I'm going to start off by blogging about the winter 2026 animes that i plan to watch. I want to blog each episode so please be warned eposidic blogs will contain spoilers for that episode. so dont read if you dont want to know spoilers.
I made this blog for me and my enjoyment however please feel free to message or comment or talk to me! Id love to discuss anime with people i miss doing that. I feel like not many people watch the animes i do compared to more popular series (which i also like lol)
ahhhhhh this episode had me bawling my eyes out! I just gotta ramble on about it. also spoilers for up to episode 12 of Nakamura kun.
Maaaaaannnnn did this episode have me crying!! I thought this was suppose to be a lighthearted silly BL anime. Ive never read the manga, but of what I've seen online from those that have I guess some parts have been anime original as it caught up to the manga. also him finding out he had a girlfriend was a lot more lighthearted.
Still, as much as this episode wrecked me I'm kind of glad the anime went this direction. Poor Nakamura kun, even though he knew the chances were very low to none of being with HIrose, still seeing him get a girlfriend the reality of it all was just a lot of him.
But I wonder if Hirose does have feelings for him. did he get a girlfriend because he didn't want to think of him having a crush on naraku? Because the scene at the end of Valentine's when they're alone, HIrose seems nervous and blushing, he asks him if he got any chocolates from anyone. he almost seems relieved he didn't. Then awkwardly standing around in silence till he runs off saying nevermind. It could be that maybe he's struggling a little with his own thoughts?
I also really liked this scene when he goes up to her and asks her to finish the manga he drew of him and HIrose. She then finally has a realization, oooooh my crush is gay and has a crush on HIrose. But instead of freaking out, she quietly acknowledges it and finishes the manga for him giving him a very nice ending where Hirose says he loves him for who he is. I think that's her way of also supporting him. I think its very sweet that she doesn't seem upset, she doesn't get fangirly on him. she understands that he seems saddened by HIrose having a gf and quietly supports him. but I do hope he becomes friends with her and opens up.
I feel bad for Nakamura because it seems that he cant really be open about him being gay to anyone I don't know if his mom and sister know? doesn't seem anyone in the class knows really. He has all these emotions bottled up, it would be nice to have someone to confide in and understand. the only one that knows about his love for Hirose is the childhood best friend, and he's more of a rival. Tho the Christmas episode it seems maybe they'll become frienenmies and he can cry about HIrose's girlfriend together lol.
Anywaaayyyss!!!! I'm hoping next ep Hirose is like wait I only dated her to make you jealous ur the one I love!!!!! and the kiss...or at the very least we get a happier episode. is ep13 going to be the last? please please see let Nakamura get a happier ending.
So ive recently gotten back into otome games. a lonnnnng time ago i use to play them but theyre werent many english translated/english made otome games. Right now, ive been playing Sympathy Kiss and the first route i did was Nori.
I usually like to play the first time around blindly just to see what i get, so i did that and ended up with Nori. He was very cheerful and "puppy like" I did like his route but i wouldnt say i loved his route?
For some reason, and i dont know why, at times i found him kinda pushy and too forward for my liking lol. Like ok this is a bit much tone it down lol. and sometimes id think "is he manipulating the player a little?" He is though, a kinda and caring guy. He had his fun and cute moments and i warmed up to him as the story progressed. I think I was just taken back at first lol. I usually go for the stoic type or the type that take a bit to warm up.
His tragic backstory was ok? i mean it wasnt super angsty lol. Basically he was really good at cooking and he ended up winning an award, but then the other students got jealous and started saying his food his gross and sabotaging him (even going so far as to steal a recipe and blame it on him). Later on he because a desert and appetizer cook but again people started bullying him, so he ended up quitting and just aimlessly wandering around from woman to woman.
I am really actually enjoying this series so far, its quickly became a favorite of mine. If you haven't seen it, i highly recomend it. (ill be talking about this series up to ep. 8 where it currently is atm so slight spoilers ahead)
Journal with witch follows Makio who is in her 30s, introverted and a writer. She takes in her niece, Asa, after her sister passed away leaving her niece an orphan. Both deal with the lost in different ways. Makio hated her sister for reasons she wont discuss. (though it seems her sister was rather criticla and kind of mean about her being an author) and Asa whom loved her parents. Makio isnt use to living with anyone, she actually prefers solitude and has lived alone for awhile. Asa is pretty bright and cheery girl and likes being around people, often feeling lonely since the lost of her parents.
I love this series because it has a more realistic take on everything thats going on. Makio isnt a perfect adult. shes messy, socially awkward, introverted, she likes to just hide herself away and focus on her work. But she is caring, she does understand emotions. I love how she treats Asa like a person rather than a child. she understands she has her own feelings and ways of dealing with things. she understands shes her own person. which i think is important because often children are looked down upon by adults or forgotten they are their own person.
Asa, seems to have trouble dealing with the sudden death. her parents died in a car crash. on the surface she might seem fine at first. she goes to school she makes friends, but she also sleeps alot. she also has mood changes. which is perfectly fine and normal. the latest episodes finally shows her breaking down and crying as if their deaths finally really hit her. and its hard. afterall she is a young girl, she never expected to lose her parents. now shes living with an aunt she never met till her parents died. an aunt who isnt use to being around people.
i love the communication between them. Makio actually is very great at explaining emotions and things. she does her best to communicate with Asa even if its hard. It seems too that Makio is starting to warm up towards her and to people. Her ex boyfriend (though maybe theyll get back together lol) even said that he was happy to see her actually ask for help. she griped it was still hard but she did it.
I also love the side characters i feel they get development too i feel like im starting to know them like the main chars. LIke Asa's friend who seems to be struggling a bit with who she might be attracted to (hinting she might be queer perhaps?). You also see flashbacks of the mother. She seemed to be rather critical of Makio it shows flashbacks of her yelling at her about her being an author. but it also shows she was kind and caring towards asa. it also shows that she never got married to Asa's father. something i believe she wanted but he didnt.
It's also interesting taking a look at depression. Depression isnt always crying or sobbing or refusing to get out of bed (sometimes it is and thats ok if that is for you). but sometimes its sleeping a lot, its kinda just going through the day but not always feeling anything. sometimes you are cheerful and bright like Asa. sometimes you can have mood swings. and this i feel takes a look at the different sides of depression and loss with Asa.
Overall this is a great series. i highly recomend it. it is more on the serious side but its not always a tearjerker it has its funny and light moments as well.
Tamon's B Side Ep. 1 "You Need Money to Support Your Oshi!"
Tamon's b side is a comedy romance shoujo about a 16yo girl named Utage Kinoshita who is absolutely OBSESSED with the idol group F/ACE especially their pink haired wild and flirty, Tamon. However shes quick to find out that theres a completely different side to him when hes not at work.
The episode opens up with a little musical preformance from F/ACE then cuts to Utage absolutely fangirling over them in front of her family, which finds it kind of odd but kind of supportive. After that, shes in her room thinking of her beloved Tamon when theres a lottery, which with some luck she ends up winning tickets to see F/ACE.
Utage goes to her part time job as a housekeeper and finds out one of her coworkers called out sick and asked to cover her shifts in the meantime. She agrees because she always needs more money to support her Oshi.
She notices the resident shes heading to has the exact same name as THE Tamon from F/ACE but naaaah shes not y/n this isnt an ao3 fic, surely it cant be.
well guess what? she opens the door and sees a young man cowering in the corner with extreme anxiety, but she knows that pink hair, she knows that face anywhere. It is in fact none other than her beloved and wonderful Tamon!! but hes nothing like he is on tv. He's extremely anxious and pessemistic. Self depricating, but that doesnt deter her. She still adores and fangirls him hard no matter what.
Later on she ends up making him a homemade meal, she notices how badly he eats and shes not about to let him go malnourished! He's hesitant at first because he never really eats peoples food. but after some coaxing he manages, and he loves it so much he instantly turned on "work mode" and starts flirting with her, only to quickly notice what happened and he turns back to B side Tamon.
He seems to slowly be getting more comfortable around her as he even has her help her take selfies. He has to take selfies for fans but hes terrible at it, the idea of taking a selfie is incredibly cringe to him lol. But leave it to Utage and she takes some of the best pictures of him. Hes very grateful, and seems to be warming up to her more.
After she praises him he seems happy, he actually likes it when fans praise him and turns out to quickly hide a slight smile.
As shes leaving she tells him that shell be making his meals and she left him some and scolds him a little. He tells her he likes when she scolds him and ends up smiling awkwardly at her. She is very much taken a back because shes normally just absolutely smitten over Tamon not "Gloomyhara" (a nickname she gave his actual personality) and is so struck by this she tackles him and tells him his smile is so awkward and so cute!!!
Only to have someone walk in as shes on top of him fangirling lol!! She appologizes profusely and runs out the apartment questioning why she acted that way towards gloomyhara when its "hottiehara" (tamon's A side/idol persona) that she loves and adores!
The next day it seems that the coworker is feeling better and now shell go back to cleaning Tamon's apartment which he seems quite sad about. Meanwhile Utage is at school with her friends who are also fans of idols and F/ACE talking about a news article that mentions an idol was being stalked recently. Utage is too busy lamenting over her behavior towards gloomy tamon and that she was just in his house cleaning.
They still havent seen each other since that day, but now its time for the concert, she decided to put all thoughts of gloomy tamon out of her mind, afterall shes a true fangirl of idol tamon! The concert starts, theres a music scene with the boys preforming one of their songs, however in the midst of the preformance and the huge crowd tamon still manages to spot utage when she shouts and holds up a sign and slightly smiles.
There seems to be an intermission so Utage goes out and is thinking of how emotional she got during the concert but is quickly snatched by when someone opens a door and quickly grabs her. Turns out its Tamon! who is quite distressed and upset that she left him .
She says of course she wanted to help him of course she was happy to see him but because shes such a fan she doesnt want to be a bother. he then leans his head on her shoulder and says no, he needs her (my heart was fluttering!! ahhh!!) she just cant say no to him lol. she then tells him he better not go back to his B side not when he has to go preform and to hurry up! they smile and wave at each other as he goes back to preform and she slips out.
I loved this first episode!! i am sooo excited to see more. I've heard of the manga, in fact i have it on my to read list but never got around to it. I also only vaguely knew the plot just that he had a different side to him, but a gloomy one! It was so funny too i was cracking up at some scenes especially when she goes full fangirl mode on him lol. I like that she also seems to have a "B side" to her. She has her normal caring side to her but then she has her ravenous fangirl side to her lol and i love it.
Tamon is so adorable ahhhh when he smiled at her when she praised him how he slowly came to her. I just know that man is gonna be such a yearner for her and i am here for it. Please i want more yearning men in shoujos and romance lol. At the end when he put his head on her shoulder and said how much he needed her ahhh!! so cutee!!!!! I'm excited to see how things envelop between them. i think hes already kind of falling for her, so thisll be fun to see.
I also liked the music numbers im glad we got to see them preform, it kinda reminds me slightly of utapri lol. The animation is also pretty nice and so is the artstyle.
We also verrryyyyy briefly got introduced to the other members of F/ACE but i have a feeling they all have their own "B sides" and i hope to see that soon. Anyways, this is defintly going to be a series that i enjoy and i do plan on blogging each episode every week.
