I’ve recently been obsessing over jegulus. So here’s my thought process on this. Plz bear with me…

I’ve seen several different things that are like “Harry would be James and Lily’s son, but both parents are gay and don’t live together” and different things like that.

But have we thought about Lily being a surrogate?

Because then Harry could still have her eyes, but he wouldn’t actually be her son. He may call her “Auntie Lily” which would be absolutely adorable. But he would be James and Regulus’ son in every way.

It just seems weird to me that James and Lily would have a son, realize they were both gay, then divorce. It’s not my favorite headcanon tbh.

Don’t know if anyone’s thought about this yet, but I was thinking…

The star, Regulus, is the brightest star in the LION constellation.

Regulus’ BRAVERY was what killed him in the end. Not his ambition, not his cunningness, though there was some, but his bravery.

His parents decided to name after a star in the Lion constellation and he died trying to end Voldemort’s life.

So we know people in paintings and photographs can move to different paintings and photographs right? Either to the ones next to them or to different ones entirely.

So hear me out.

What if there are hallways inside the paintings and photographs?

Can you just imagine being inside a painting/photo where there’s a giant window that shows the real world and you look left and right and behind you and there’s just corridors upon corridors leading to every other painting/photo in all of the wizarding world.

There’s shiny new staircases that lead to barely dried paintings and creepy dark hallways where you’ll find a black and white photograph sitting in an abandoned attic.

I wanna be a painting now…

Headcanon: 8th year + Draco (the ferret) + Harry (the oblivious) = Drarry

Mostly every 17 year old decides to go back to Hogwarts after the war, including Draco and Harry

There are some who are still angry at Draco for what him and his family did, so they end up dueling Draco and he somehow gets turned back into a ferret and left like that

Harry finds him and decides to keep him cause fuck it. It’s cute and lonely and it reminds him a bit of Hedwig

He carries Draco (as a ferret) around with him everywhere; on his shoulder, in his pocket, etc

Harry tells that ferret everything cause he can’t seem to talk to people normally now that he’s the ‘savior of the Wizarding World’ and all and he thinks the ferret can’t understand a thing

Draco ends up falling head over heels in love with this boy. Just the way he cares for everyone and how he survived all that he did... he’s so brave...

A couple days later, Harry realizes that Draco hasn’t been around in a while. He asks around and apparently no one else knows either

Draco tries giving Harry clues that he is, in fact, the ferret in his pocket, but to no avail because Harry, being Harry, is a clueless dunderhead

In transfiguration class one day, the class is turning their pets into something and Harry tries doing the spell on the ferret, and it turns back into Draco

“IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME POTTER!!”

Harry’s embarrassed cause he realizes he has told Draco everything about himself from the trauma of his childhood to his nightmares about the war and Draco’s gonna tell everyone...

The next morning he goes down to breakfast, ready for the laughing and jarring, but no one says a thing? It’s like a completely regular morning

As soon as he sees Harry, Draco runs up to him and asks him if they can talk, so they step out into the corridor and as soon as their alone, Draco wraps Harry in a hug

“I’m so sorry for what you had to go through...”

And Harry just starts bawling. He flings his arms around Draco and is sobbing into his shoulder

“Shhhh... It’s alright, Harry. I’m here. Everything’s going to be okay.”

They end up being really great friends and then Draco gets up the courage to ask Harry out on a date

Harry is SO confused, but he agrees anyway cause fuck it. Draco’s cute and I’m lonely

And no one is at all surprised when they walk into the Great Hall the next week hand in hand

Imagine a crippled muggleborn coming to Hogwarts in a wheelchair...

A muggleborn being in a really bad car accident when they were little, and the doctors tell them they will never walk again. They get to on the train, there’s already people pointing and snickering behind their hands. The muggleborn’s name is called for the sorting, they push to the front, but stop at the stairs and whoever is calling names looks exasperated, but uses Wingardium Leviosa to lift them up. Imagine they’re sorted into Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, one of the houses in the towers. After dinner, the muggleborn follows his housmates and prefects until they get to the grand staircase. They look up at the 142 staircases and sigh. Suddenly, nearly everyone from their house crowd around them and lift his wheelchair up. Without magic. And they realize that maybe... just maybe, they can fit in.

Where was Snape before he came into the classroom in Sorcerer’s Stone?

I know he was most likely talking to Dumb-as-a-door, but just imagine:

Minerva: Severus, what are you doing?

Severus from behind a statue: I am waiting for my new students to get to class.

Minerva: And why are you waiting behind a statue?

Severus: I’m going to scare them with my Grand Entrance of Doom.

Minerva: ...alrighty then *walks off*

Severus: *snickers* They won’t know what hit ‘em.

You know those things that’s like if Ron and Hermione weren’t put in Gryffindor they’d be put in like Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff?

Right, anyway, I disagree. At least with Hermione being put in Ravenclaw.

Yes, Hermione’s smart and she cares a lot about grades and shit. But guys, her boggart was getting bad grades, or failing. She wants to be the best. If she hadn’t had the courage to ask to be put in Gryffindor, she would’ve been put in Slytherin. She knew that she’d be put in Slytherin, but she wanted people to like her so she chose Gryffindor.

I’m not sure about Ron being in Hufflepuff, especially after he left in Deathly Hallows. Like, if he was Hufflepuff, he wouldn’t have left in the first place. I think he probably would’ve been put in Gryffindor either way. I’m not sure if he asked or not. Some people say he did, some say he didn’t. Guess we’ll never know. Unless Jo said something at some point and I missed it.

You know what I realized?

The Room of Requirement wasn’t on the Mauraders map, right?

The mauraders MADE that map because they knew where everthing was in Hogwarts.

So... had they never found the Room of Requirement? Or am I overthinking this?

Hear me out.

Hufflepuffs are the messiest people you’ll ever meet. Not like the “a few things laying around the room” sort of messy. I’m talking “wtf did I just walk into?” kinda messy. But they’re those people who know EXACTLY where everything is even though it looks like a tsunami has ripped through their house. I’m talking dishes in random spots, books over here and over there, socks hanging from the ceiling fan. Yet they’ll still clean up when asked, but after a day, it’ll be another tornado.

Can someone point me in the direction of where the fanfic is where the battle of Hogwarts just ended and Harry’s trying to take care of a baby??? Like is that a thing or do I need to write it?

I just need to see a fanfiction where 17 year old Harry goes to Andromeda’s house all “Hey, Tonks and Remus made me the Godfather...” but Andromeda’s so into it and she teaches Harry all about taking care of a baby and he takes Teddy home and takes care of him, never taking his eyes off him and he visits Andromeda like three times a week and whenever his friends come over he’s trying so hard and omg... I just killed myself.

BUT DO I ACTUALLY NEED TO WRITE IT BECAUSE I WILL AND YOU KNOW IT!!

Has anyone ever thought of what Harry did when the Dursleys took their family pictures? Like, did he stay in his cupboard or did he go over to Miss Figg’s house? What if he ever got out of his cupboard? Like when he was little and he didn’t understand anything? Would the photographer say something about him? What would the Dursleys say? Would they be like, “we’re just babysitting him,” or what? I’m guessing he’d probably get in trouble and he’d have to go a few days without food or something, but I just think it’s so sad! Like little kids always want to be in pictures and when the Dursleys would say that he wasn’t allowed, that would just break his little heart and then he’d get in trouble for crying. Anyway, sorry for ranting. I just wanted to put that out there.
