what’s a ‘skill’ of yours you swear isn’t special but everyone else seems impressed by. for example i can always tell when it’s about to rain (as opposed to just cloudy) because of how it smells and the hue that everything outside is slightly tinted

lads Viper really has it all. Insane daddy issues, exchanging his body to earn his place in a cult family, DID if you are enlightened, he was born blessed with the ability to regenerate but traffickers found out and cut his fingertips off (until they stopped growing back) on display to sell other kids... truly no idea what a father was or should be when Lucius showed up and bought him... he is Caleb's foil so so much. Caleb split off to sacrifice himself for MC. Viper went to Lucius bc it was better than what he knew. he just wanted to hurt less. had no connections to anyone. I need to gnaw on his face.

I forgot I never explained the slight difference in Caleb calling you "colonel" in CN vs EN!

As a pretext, his colonel role in Chinese is called "执舰官 zhi jian guan", which translates to "ship commander" (I don't know why—I have near zero knowledge about the military in any language).

So like how it is in his birthday trailer, CN him calls you "小长官 xiao zhang guan" or "little commander/colonel". Adding "little" in front of a nickname makes it sound cuter, and it tends to be used by people who are older than you.

While the EN version makes it sound like you're on equal footing with him, the CN version highlights the fact that Caleb is the older one, the gege, and he's close enough to you to be able to tease you like that.
