"Good story." she yawned, snuggling under the blankets in her toddler size bed. "Mama and Dada story."

tony chuckled kissing her cheek “i was going to tell you that one anyway” he smiled “right so one day mommy came to see daddy as he made a big mistake and it had to be sorted but she sprayed my guard with pepper spray. it hurt his eyes terribly and thats why i call mommy pepper. after that mommy became my personal assistant and my best friend” tony trailed off..

Poppy wasn’t really understanding it all, but she knew the story was about her parents. “Mama pepper.”

He nodded “yes mama is pepper to me. But mama to you” he kissed her cheek “anyway , after daddy became iron man he realised that he loved mommy more than he ever thought. Mommy was angry at daddy so daddy just kissed mommy in the end” he smiled thinking back “and now look , we have a beautiful little girl” he tickled her some peppering kissed over her face.

Violet giggled and hugged him. “Love Dada. Good story.”

Violet frowned trying to decide if he was right or not. "Okay dada." Pep glanced up at Bruce and smiled. "What would we do without you?"

She carried Violet into the bathroom and undressed her while the tub filled. "You are covered in paint, my girl." Pep chuckled.

"You can stop thinking like that for a start. You need to be positive, Loki." Pepper replied, taking his hands in her own.

"You’ll learn fast, I did too." she smiled, getting into the passenger seat.

"Of course; but you’re a caregiver, Pepper, that’s who you’ve always been." he replied. "I’m a bit more selfish."

"You don't think I selfish?" she laughed, "I promise, you will be fine with al of this."

"I love you too, Tony." she smiled laying down on the bed and becoming him to join her.

Tony laid on top of her and kissed her neck. “Now, where do you want me, babe.”

"For a genus, you ask dumb questions." she teased. "Where do you think I want you?"

Tony sighed and nodded “yeah I guess that’s all we can do” he shrugged as they pulled up inside the garage.

"Let them get the shock of us having a kid out of the way and move on to something else."

Tony chuckled “yeah I know what you mean. It only sounds right” he nodded kissing her cheek. He got poppy out as she yawned.

"Nap time for a certain little girl, I think." Pep chuckled.

Tony chuckled picking her up as she rested against his shoulder. “Let’s take you for a nap sweetie” he kissed her head.

"No nap. Stay with Dada." she sleepily protested.

He chuckled softly “okay I’ll come up and we’re read a story okay” he kissed her head. “I won’t be long” tony kissed pepper before walking up.

Pep nodded and headed into the kitchen after changing quickly to start making spaghetti for their supper.

He went upstairs and laid poppy down kissing her head. He didn’t know where pepper put the books so instead started telling her how pepper and himself met.

She wondered at his hesitance but tried to shrug it off. “It was a lot of fun.” Violet nodded in agreement, curls bouncing, before looking up at Pepper. “Where dada?” Pep sighed softly, “Daddy is working, honey. We might see him before bedtime.”

Howard glanced down towards the ground.  ”You should visit him.  Make sure he doesn’t work to hard…or gets cut off from his family.”

"I wish we could, but he's at SHIELD, I don't have clearance to go where he is. He's doing good work..." she sighed. "We'd be in his way and it's no place for Violet, anyway."

"What do you build daddy?" Poppy asked looking at him "I build everything and anything sweetie" he chuckled

Pepper frowned looking past them. “Please tell me that’s not a photog trying to lure Poppy closer with candy…”

He sighed “come on let’s go this is just getting overly weird and stupid” he shook his head trying to move and cover Poppy’s face from pictures. “How about dinner and icecream hmm?” He got up picking up poppy and putting a towel around her and hat over her head with her Minnie Mouse sunglasses.

"Take away?" Pep suggested, "I don’t want to enforce that junk food is okay, but it’s easy right now."

"Who they?" Poppy asked, trying to peek around Tony. "Friends?"

He shook his head “what do you want for dinner then pepper? I’ll go to the store and get some food to make if that’s better?” He shrugged

"We could send Happy with a list." Pep added, "Sphagetti? I can whip that up quick. I think I have all I need at home anyway."

"S’getti!" Poppy interjected, clearly in the mood for pasta.

"You like that sweetie?" She nodded as he got her in the car. "Yeah okay then spaghetti it is" he smiled

"She loves spaghetti." Pep added as she got in the passenger seat.

He nodded as he got in “spaghetti it is then” he chuckled “I think we all caught a little sun” he laughed as he turned on the radio and drove. The press tried catching a few photos of them in the car,luckily the windows were tinted.

Pepper was relieved when they made it home without incident. "I think we should lay low for a few days."
