A Problem With Metal Cheetah

Okay time for a rant, the Metal Legion Cheetah makes absolutely no sense, and is another example of writers not getting Wonder Woman Villains. As well as another example of the mishandling of Wonder Woman villains.

So in the DC X Sonic The Hedgehog Metal Legion crossover, in issue 3. Eggman creates robot copies of the Legion Of Doom. Eggman reveals he made them by copying their bio-data. "When I updated your drab little clubhouse, I took the liberty of installing multiple Bio-Data Scanners. Downloading your unique traits and refining them into superior robot versions."............

Now while at most I could say it would make sense he copied their fighting styles via the scanners, and stole some of their tech due to the lack the Legion Of Doom having biological powers. There is one character that to me stands out as no making any sense to have done this to.

This character being Cheetah, character whose powers are neither biological now mechanical. Her powers are pure magic, and by extension Eggman should have had no way to replicate them. This get into how so many writers just don't realize Cheetah's powers are magic, alongside some other things.

So let's establish a few things. Eggman's robots are not all fast, most of them are a decent speed but no super fast. His fast ones being Mecha Sonic and of course Metal Sonic. The latter is established to be able to keep up with Sonic because their main body is made out of a fuselage. Sonic himself can only run at supersonic speeds.

On top of this, Eggman's robots can get pretty strong, these robots are his boss robots typically. Robots that Sonic can struggle with, in the end still beats them. Also, Sonic himself is established to have to slow down to fight such opponents, as he has trouble fighting when running at his top speeds.

Also, no matter how durable Eggman build his machines, in the end they are metal and wires. By extension can be destoryed.

With all that being said, there is no reason Metal Cheetah as I am calling it should been able to take on cheetah.

This is because Cheetah herself is by no means a pushover. Cheetah is one of the fast characters in DC, being official ranked at number 6 barely faster than Wonder Woman. On top of this fact she can out speed Kid Flash and God Speed aka literally speedsters. Kid Flash aka Wallace being ranked at number 10 the as the last character listed, is a character who can run at light speed.

The last bit also ties into my post on why the Flash is far faster than Sonic.

Cheetah is a character that is also strong and durable enough to go toe to toe with Wonder Woman, aka character is comparable to Superman ins strength and durability.

And of course you have the magic part of her, which Eggman couldn't have copied. Also, if Eggman somehow was able to copy that, this would get into the issue have brought up in a previous post about how Eggman is being written in recent times.

So with all that being said, there is no way the Metal Cheetah should have stood any chance. Cheetah should have immediately ran up to it and broke it like a toothpick. It shouldn't have even been close to an equal fight, alone ending with Cheetah retreating and the copy basically being unscathed.

This really reminds me of how certain writers have had Cheetah be restrained physically by the likes of Batman and Catwoman, or had her killed by basic bullets. The disrespect for Wonder Woman's rogues gallery is fricken insane, and this just goes to show why we a bunch of good Wonder Woman adaptations that does her rogues gallery justice. A animated series or game, something like that.

This does also get into a issue with Eggman, as this comic had him build a robot that is far faster than Sonic with strength near Superman level strength if it is meant to be around the same speed and strength of Cheetah.

Also, with this all being disrespectful you have a double edged sword. Either have Eggman casually built an op magical robot. Or this is the result of bad writing, and another example of a Wonder Woman villain being mishandled. Meanwhile, the writers are very capable enough to do their own research on the Flash so they can reference picoseconds and Krakkl.

Note, I'm not saying Eggman can't get the upper hand on the Legion Of Doom, can't be a menace, or create powerful tech. Nor am I trying to make a power scaling argument for characters to be unbeatable. I am pointing how the writers have fumbled Cheetah and seemed to have no done any research into this character.

Now I do have a suggestion to what they could have done instead. They could have easily used Giganta instead of the Cheetah for the Legion Of Doom. From their have Eggman scan Giganta's bio-data.

The reason I say this is because Giganta's powers are actually biological and aren't magic based. So a robot double made using Biodata would actually have made some sense. By extension you wouldn't have to worry about the magic and speed issue.

Now yes you could argue the there could still be strength issue given how strong Giganta is. Aka her strength is just human strength but scaled up for her giant sized. She is able to give kryptonians a run for their money when she isn't even at her max size.

But again, it would make some more sense given again Giganta's powers are at least biological, and the you don't have to worry about the super speed issue or the magic issue.

Overall, this just seems like writers once again not understanding Wonder Woman villains, and the likes of Cheetah getting disrespected by not being treated properly. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

Killer Moth Was Originally Meant To be An Anti Batman

A little fact that people don't know about Killer Moth is was originally supposed to be Anti-Batman think like Owlman.

He had his own Batmobile, and made his own villain version of the Batman light. He wanted to be the guy villains call when they need help, in comparison to how the Gotham Police call Batman. He basically wanted to be a like a Shigiraki.

But this detail hasn't been really adapted, and he is mostly treated as a joke nowadays because of his costume looking goofy, and only being taken seriously when he is turned into a monster. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

With recent stuff we honestly need a movement to make DC actually respect and use Wonder Woman. Like K. Rool level type of fan outcry for her here, on Bluesky, YouTube, heck even on that hell cite Twitter.

Like it is we got so many projects for Batman and nothing for Wonder Woman. Why are we getting a show for that stinky smelly green haired clown.

Like how do we have a below C-List Batman villain known as Kite Man get their own animated series before one of the Big 3 of the DC Trinity.

Honestly, free Wonder Woman already!!!! Give us a My Adventures With Wonder Woman series!!! And do her extensive rogues gallery justice, while making sure to use her clay origin story!!!

The Atom Eve Brawler Issue

So with the existence of the Invincible Game an aspect about how Atom Eve is written to use her powers has become highlighted to me.

Atom Eve has reality warping powers and can solve many problems by being creative or more tactical. But instead she often opts for brute force, as if she is well a brawler. But that's not how her powers should be being used. In a way the best way to put is for Atom Eve to use her powers, is simply to not punch the problem.

She opts to shoot her little lasers get up and closer with her opponents with pink shields, hammers, and the occasional mace. She often opts to literally punch her opponents if she has no way to physical beat them in that manner.

That how she chooses to use her powers and it doesn't work for. She uses her powers as if the only thing she can is make constructs. She can literally warp reality to whatever she wants to and with only a sentient life limit. But even that isn't true because she can alter things like plants without having her limits removed.

She change the air molecules into a completely different substance, turn metal to glass, turn her opponents weapons into bubbles, and so much more. But instead she opts to make constructs and try to hit things really hard. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper

Himiko Toga Has Siblings?

So something I noticed when watching through My Hero Academia is a detail it seems many people have overlooked.

In Season 5 Episode 21 we get this line from Chitose Kizuki. "So at 17 you're the oldest daughter of the Toga family."........ This line of dialogue implied the existence of younger siblings Himiko would have. This bit of information appears to remain true on the Japanese side of things.

MHA Actor AU Hypothesis

MHA Actor AU Hypothesis

So something I've only seen floating around in the realm of headcanon or fanfic, is the concept of a My Hero Academia Actor Au. But similar to a Mario Actor AU Hypothesis or that one Mouthwashing one, I think there is potential for one to hypothesize an actual actor au for MHA.

So lemme explain it what I am talking about. So basically the idea is there in an alternate universe separate from the Prime Canon, and in this case the MHA cast are all well actors. These actors retain their names, powers, and to an extent personalities with some differences. That being the villains aren't evil and does hate the heroes, as they are all actors putting on a performance. The other major difference is they aren't reenacting previous events that happened in-universe, but rather putting on a show for people in-universe.

Now this type of hypothesis is born out things such a promotional material featuring the characters from said media promoting said media. Or fun official art that depicts events or things happening that would have never happened in the main canon. In the case of the villains characters that would normally hate each other or at least fight each other aren't doing that. Instead they are simply hanging out. At of it being due to the fact the characters wouldn't have had the time to do these actions, are canonically dead, or would have a problem with each other that would prevent such events from occurring. This would be because these depictions would be an alternate universe where they are actors.

In the case of MHA, these examples of this would come from the depictions of the MHA cast in media such as Jump Festa or some of Horikoshi's official art. Which would self evidently never have happened in the manga or anime.

So yeah, that's my idea of a MHA Actor AU Hypothesis which i haven't seen anyone really talk about or put into words as a hypothesis. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper
