This is an info-blurb on Oersted/Odio’s Fate (primarily centered in FGO) verse:
Initially appears as an Alter Ego servant in Chaldea in his knight appearance. He introduces himself as Oersted and makes every appearance of being a kind-hearted and brave hero...
Except in actuality he’s The King of Demons, Odio, incarnating himself to test the Master of Chaldea and their resolve and heroism.
In his true form, he’s a gigantic Threat to Humanity, but as a Servant he puts enough limiters on his power that he can fly under the radar for the most part.
Has Independent Manifestation EX right out of the gate and an initially hidden Avenger A. As hatred itself, it’s astoundingly easy for Odio to collect the hatred of others.
For the most part, though he puts up a pleasant front as Oersted, Odio despises almost of the good-aligned Servants in Chaldea. Beyond his already stated mission of testing the Master of Chaldea (like he does the heroes in the game), he’ll probably also try and figure out why these great heroes of legends were, well, heroes.
1st Noble Phantasm: Saint Alicia. Modeled after the attack of the same name in the game. It’s a representation of the woman he loved and how she betrayed him. Before his true identity is revealed it seems to be Oersted calling upon her power. Afterwards, it’s Odio summoning Alicia’s beautiful form, who then transforms into a ghastly monster whose scream unleashes invisible magical damage.
2nd Noble Phantasm: Lost Lucretia. A reality marble based around the kingdom that Oersted was born in and that Odio destroyed. Whoever is caught in his Noble Phantasm gets dragged into Lucretia, where Oersted/Odio’s power is greatly increased and also where many of his minions reside. However, lingering too long in this Noble Phantasm runs the risk of Odio returning to his true form and losing his status as a Servant.
Seems to naturally drag along his incarnations when he incarnates himself as a Servant. This is represented through his odd Shapeshift skill, which allows him to assume the form of any of his incarnations. Though perhaps if there were less limiters on his power, he could assume a more horrifying form...
(tentative) Possibly has some kind of special Clairvoyance skill called Clairvoyance of the Demon King EX.
I’m gonna dive into tags and start following more people but in the meantime have a tentative starter / plotting call! Like this for a starter with the added possibility of me sliding into your IMs to get a bit of a direction for where the starter should go!

Admittedly, Tsubasa had been spacing out as she made her way to the local bookstore. It was a habit she needed to break. There was always so much on her mind that she failed to look at what was physically ahead of her, creating unfortunate situations like these.
“Ack!” she squeaked as she stumbled back, barely keeping herself from falling over. An unfortunate reality of being as tiny as she was that bowling her over would be painfully easy. It was pathetic. A girl who could fight a literal god and come out of it alive could be knocked over by a stiff enough breeze. Her growth spurt couldn’t come soon enough!
Looking up at the guy she’d bumped into, Tsubasa couldn’t help but feel even smaller than she already was— he was a giant and she was a mouse. No, not even that. She was an ant compared to him!
“U-um… I’m so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going!” Tsubasa apologized, quickly bowing as she panicked. How lame. How terribly, horribly lame. It was so easy to be brave when she was fighting giant monsters as Cure Swan, so why was she so timid now as Tsubasa?! If only she had an ounce of courage from her alter ego!
“A-are you okay? You aren’t hurt anywhere, are you?” She knew full well how unlikely it was that she’d even left a scratch on the massive man in front of her, but she needed to ask just to make sure.
Odie should not get mad and knock the girl out of his way again due to his irritation, he should instead attempt at curbing his terrible desire to have people bow down to him before him and his strength and not act like... this. This is a young girl, after all. An odd one, perhaps, with a strange feeling about her, but a pathetic little girl all the same.
The fighter snarled, half at Tsubasa’s question and half at the insistent suggestion in the back of his head. Hurt? She thought her puny little body merely bumping into him could hurt him? The more he thought about that improbable scenario, the more the glare left him and the more he began to quietly chuckle.
“Hurt? You believe you could have hurt me? Hah!” Odie flexed an arm, watching with pride as the muscles rippled. “You believe you could have hurt an inch of the man who will become the strongest in the world? Hahahaha!” The sheer absurdity of such a thought managed to drive away any traces of Odie’s anger at the girl, and after a moment of laughing, he glanced down again at her.
“Hmm. Hey. Little girl. Have you heard of a man named Masaru? Runs around, trains, says he’s going to become the strongest in the world?”

No. The wannabe champion wasn’t here either. Damn. Odie thought himself to be an astoundingly patient man but he wanted--no, he needed to see Masaru. He needed to best the man and prove himself the strongest in all the land and--
“Hmm?” Odie snarled as he felt his motion come to a stop as he bumped into something. He glanced down and saw that it was a... girl. A little, puny, pathetic girl. Hmph. Not worth his time. But there was something about the girl. Yes, there is something about her so perhaps Odie should not knock her over in his search for Masaru for now. The fighter stared down at the girl for a moment longer, and then began to speak.
“You. Little girl.” The large, muscular man bent down, his gaze hardened as he spoke. “Any reason you chose to be blind and stumble into me today?”

Odio has incarnations. They’re essentially versions or parts of himself that pop up throughout time and space to do evil and make a point about the vices of humanity and what Odio believes to be right, whether it be through their own actions (Odi Wang Lee), what humans do for them (Odeo) or what was done to them (O. Dio and arguably OD-10). But there’s a bit more to them than that.
See, for one, Odio’s incarnations have always existed even before Oersted became the Demon King, because he always was the Demon King (see: a meta I really need to write up about temporal stuff and how that relates to Oersted and his weird status of both being Odio and also not being Odio because hoo boy). Two, his incarnations aren’t necessarily Odio reincarnating himself every so often to torment humans. They’re projections. Aspects of himself he cast out into the universe through the statues in the Demon King’s castle. They’re both their own beings but also... not. The best way to describe Odio’s incarnations would be automatons that Odio watches over. He sees what they see and knows what they know, but for the most part they act on their own, though those actions arguably are always inherently linked to Odio’s own desires since, well, they’re him in a roundabout way.
But I mention in my verses page that Odio can be more present in his incarnations. And he does this by possessing them essentially. In the final chapter, if you select Oersted as your player character, you get to play as the incarnations in a boss rush. The curb-stomp battles that ensue are arguably the result of the fact that you, as the player, are now controlling the incarnations, but in-universe it could be attributed to Odio’s presence inside of the incarnations giving them a power boost. There’s also the fact they can now cast Armageddon and completely end the universe, something Pure Odio can also do.
I'm gonna be setting up a verse page and verses for other fandoms soon but I will say Odio is a character that can slot himself fairly nicely into most fandoms due to his almost omniscient nature as hatred itself and because his presence in other universes can be chalked up to it being an incarnation. (i.e. my plan for an FE verse is that he just has a default incarnation he sees through that pops up every single time humans of those worlds start up the wars again)
Hi hi hi hello! You need a Hero™ with a righteous heart and a good, strong sense of justice who has the bestest friend in the whole wide world (who would never get jealous, ever) and loves a princess (who totally loves him back and won’t be swayed by outside forces, ever)? Need a good, clean, simple story about heroism and saving the princess (because that’s all that’s going on here sir, no twists)? Well, that’s totally what you’re getting here!
... Or maybe that’s not your thing and you prefer something... darker. A story about hatred and how anyone is susceptible to it. Which is totally not what’s actually going on here, I swear. I pinky promise. Totally.
Overly wordy promos aside, I’m Crear and I’m here today with Oersted from Live-a-Live! A fairly obscure RPG about seven heroes and also this guy! If you’re interested in writing with a cool knight aka totally-not-corrupted-hero, could you like or reblog this? Much appreciated!
