thinking bout the parent(s) of Hero and Payn and being as theyâre rather important to both characterâs development I decided to draw them a bit.
Heroâs dad is an old school mage so he dresses really weird. Heâs an arcanist of sorts, makes potions n things. Heâs also a drunk. Hero tends to take more care of his father than Erich does of Hero and the two donât really get along and Erich tends to lash out at Hero verbally and on occasion throw things at him..
Paynâs parents met while his dad was overseas on leave for war (not with the country, just monsters and factions working with the monsters). Seon was a tactician while Lee was a simple front line solider. Amazonian runs in Leeâs family so occasionally you end up with a child with super human strength, such as Payn. (The Grace family name is sort of a big deal because of this trait). Both parents want to see Payn settle down and marry and are constantly trying to play match maker. No ill intent, they just want grandchildren! Payn has yet to âcome outâ to them due to this pressure.Â
