This visit home has a different kind of feeling - the house I grew up in will be empty and sold by this time next month. So this is my last time existing in the spaces that held me through childhood and angsty teenagerhood, the place that was a reassuring constant when I returned over the past 6 years, that seemed to never change much while there were worlds of transformation happening inside me. But places are just backdrops, really. I always talk about how ready I was to get out of Tucson when I left. But today I'm especially appreciative of how beautiful this place is and how lucky I am that it's a permanent part of me. #desertlove #tucson #arizona #change
