Yet another #heartshape #watercolor and #ink #sketch. Trying out some #lotus #patterns. Looks like this will be this weeks theme. #love again. A myth I find to be exhausting and downright insulting is the notion that love is suppose to hurt and/or be coated in drama - otherwise it is deemed worthless, not deep enough or even boring. Well, people aren't props to make one's life more exciting. That's what hobbies and adventures are for. Wait! Another one? Indeed, as one cannot have too much love in one's life. It takes time, it takes and gives energy and above all, vulnerability and trust. What it does not take is status - you can't fuck, hug or communicate with status, can you now? Same goes for wallets. The cliche is there for a reason; love can not be bought. Not with flowers on a certain day, not with cash, not with social capital or with abs - so whoopsy, capitalism, you're kinda screwing up. #rebellionislove #love #antivalentine #antivalentinesday

I'm definitely a fan of genuine love, but I sure as hell loathe how it's been swamped in the neo-liberal/capitalist patriarchal culture of both entitlement and selfishness. This is my little reply, and who knows, perhaps I'll dish out a whole fourteen of them.
