About two years ago I walked into a major department store and saw my design for sale on the shelves. It wasn’t the first time I had been confronted with theft of my work but it was certainly more jarring to see it in person, on the shelf of a store. And though I found myself intrigued that an idea of mine could take hold so much that I was put in that position, it’s also a feeling I never want to feel again.

I’ve struggled with finding my own identity in an artistic sense but I feel like I’m on that path now. Etsy will no longer be a big part of my future.
