a scene thats been rattling around for a month or so while i worked on other things. i want to someday write this scene as well, but it has been hard to find the internal voice of a freshly-turned wanpyr. was most excited to draw a mad azalee during her last days… though intimidated too

the initials in the bed canopy are my favorite little detail. this was formerly the bedchamber for both nikolaus and his elder brother, willimar

Hello hello, anyone still there? I realize I’ve been super MIA for a while now, but life was... life. I graduated from grad school, finished and defended my thesis, packed up everything I owned, moved across the country, then lived in a hotel with most of my possessions in storage while I tried to find a car, a job, and an apartment. But I think things are FINALLY settling down now! So as a thank you to all the people that still want to read my translations, I have prepared for you 2 new prince stories (Azalee and Dormouse, including Secret Story chapters), the event In the Daybreak where we were introduced more to Ray’s character (minus some bits from Ch. 7, which is explained in the translation), and 5 new Memory Piece translations! But I’m getting my groove back I think! So expect the next couple princes to still be 3-stars, but after that I will hopefully have a 4 or 5-star for you all. Also I will likely be going back and translating Secret Stories periodically for some of the princes I’ve already done, and I’ll post when I have added those too.
