This poll isn't exactly "silly," but I'm interested to see the responses. I'd also love to compare if a Bluey or Sesame Street blog were to run this same poll, given the popularity of those two programs with adults.
i love sportarobbie because the attraction is mutual for a long time before anyone says anything. it’s just a really touching slowburn. the clear-as-day endearment for robbie that never leaves sportacus’ face is one thing, but the sheer familiarity between them is also just so strong. robbie reveals in little ways throughout the show just how much he actually cares for the kids, and it’s pretty clear that his acting out is a product of jealousy and frustration because he has grown so bitter and isolated from others and probably never actually worked on his social skills. he just…. doesn’t even have a life. but he badly wants one, and he wants to feel like he belongs with his neighbors.
meanwhile, we’re all thinking that sportacus has tons of friends and seems to be so good at making them, but to be honest, i think he also struggles to make real friends. lbr he lives alone in a giant blimp seemingly just wandering around looking for people to help, and he apparently had SO little going on in his life that he was able to easily drop everything and essentially move to lazytown just because a few kids begged him to stay one day. he sounds pretty lonely, all things considered. friendly as hell, but still alone. and while i count the mayor, ms. busybody and the kids as genuine friends of his, those kinds of relationships are obviously very simple and limited. it’s not like having a close friend that you can rely on, yknow?
idk. i love how polar opposite robbie and sportacus are for many reasons, but they also share some strong parallels. the lonely hero in the sky and the lonely villain underground are becoming friends and it brings a tear to the ol’ eye
aaaaaa it’s so hard to draw as much as i used to! but i'm enjoying doing silly sketches and studies. it’s weird being burnt out art-wise because art has always been what i turn to when i need to recharge, so this is frustrating… but i’m slowly getting back in the swing of things!
Sportacus has a hard day so he slinks back to his airship and pulls out a special bottle of 0.000002% abv sugar-free cider and takes a thimble sized shot, blacking out immediately
Stephanie chooses an outfit! Initially it was supposed to be a full-fledged art with a plot, but I didn't like how it turned out and I gave up on it, you can guess what was there lol
And yes, for the first time in my life I decided to try a new painting style and all that stuff and I'm not very happy with how it turned out
