@linklethehistorian sat me down to watch the entirety of Andromeda and now whump Jesus over here is our son. I love Seamus Harper from Torment Seamus Harper: The Show.

Very heavily inspired by Yume 2kki’s Surgical Scissors World by qxy, and also S3 E12, by all of Trance’s possible futures…which, of course, totally do not end in disaster, as we all know. She was supposed to be holding the scissors, but…you can only tell if I point that out, so I don’t know how that one went, but hey, I’m still a big fan of this.

A big shoutout to Linkle for introducing me to this sad, sad man and spreading his gospel in our current year, the world is in dire need of it and I would have never known what my life was missing otherwise. Truly incredible blorbo, 10/10, I’m putting him in the blender as we speak.

I’m just thinking at the moment, I can’t decide if I want to open my ask box here and make this essentially my new main, or move all the League stuff to another blog that would serve as such instead.

I haven’t done the latter yet because I’m not entirely sure this hyperfixation will last for long enough to warrant that, as I currently still have more public LHC posts than the stuff I’ve got for League— and drafts don’t count— but I’ll probably do that later, even if it ended up lasting a week before I abandoned it, if I have something other to post than just a piece of fanart (e.g. a fic, an animatic draft, a discussion post, etc.), or I have…I’ll give it 5+ project drafts or posts, I think that’s fair.

If I end up doing that and moving over to that blog, there’s a good chance I’ll use that as my main and open asks on there— since this particular blog exists not to serve as a main platform, but rather for me to essentially throw scraps of things that will likely have no other follow-up somewhere— although that creates the possibility of another risky gambit: opening asks while I’m primarily in the League/Arcane fandom…

Decided that even if it gets discontinued in a week, I’m still in desperate need of a new main, so for both those wanting a separate space for my League/Arcane-related stuff and those previously following my former main blog, you’ll be able to find me on @hexcore-malfunction as soon as I actually sweep up and decorate that barren place.

Self-indulgent scribble because I’ve been rather sick all day, and this is…definitely the cure. I love how this version of Viktor in general kind of looks as if he escaped Bloodborne and found his way into League skins.

His hair is a bit shorter than what his splash art has, I went with the length of the 3D model instead, because I may or may not be heavily biased towards it. Also, I wanted to keep one of his skin-compliant glowing eyes while making the other one regular, but I made it a bit too dark, so now he reminds me of Silco a bit…although, hey, no complaints either way.

I hope this hasn’t been done before, I’ve somehow accidentally gotten myself into the world’s worst hyperfixation on Viktor League of Legends.

Please ignore that his mechanical arm is missing. It was originally there, but I had to give up after nine hours of drawing this when my soul was already refusing to fight with metal elements any further. Just imagine it’s somewhere in the back, out of sight.

It’s not as good as I wanted it to be, but not only is it finally done and it’ll stop looking at me pleadingly from my drafts, I’ve also come to find out it’s really easy to draw while actively ignoring your other WIPs.

This is on a transparent background, so if you want to see the laser’s glow better, I hope opening it will do the trick.

Anyway, I doodled these on my 12 hour flight, publicly, with two strangers half-staring at my phone. One of them was unfortunate enough to display curiosity, upon which I told them of the fandom, because they were also unfortunate enough that I have absolutely no sense of shame. I hope they never look it up…or join the cult instead.

My friend, whom I’m temporarily lodging at, walked in on me drawing this, and I’m so glad no questions were asked as to why I had a biology textbook image open on my iPad as I was frustratedly trying to get some things right here before giving up. Said friend also asked me why in the world do I like this manga after not listening to my former warnings and accidentally looking through it to her own detriment. God, I wish I knew and answer.

I am stupidly obsessed with Litchi Light Club, and specifically this…deranged middle schooler at the moment, please excuse me. I’d say it’s a tragic, yet reoccurring hyperfixation each time I see anything from this fandom, but the previous times have never been documented here, probably for the better.

Genuinely wondering why I became this much of a Jaibo fan despite probably detesting him three years ago when I first read this manga. He might just be…an incredibly fascinating display of the one and only character trait we share being taken to a deeply morbid extreme, or so sounds like a decent explanation for it. I likely just enjoy very unhinged characters on an entirely casual level as well, though.

Anyway, this was just a quick sketch, but I was listening to Ecstasy on a loop, and I can’t help but think…yeah, this is definitely what he’d listen to. You can’t convince me otherwise.

I’m not sure why, but I feel as though the One Piece artstyle is so…simple? I thought it would be extremely difficult to draw any of the characters, but it really isn’t, at least not so far. It is true I’m trying to draw these quickly, so maybe I’m somehow cutting corners, but I don’t think it applies to the general style? Regardless, this isn’t a complaint, I’m super glad about it.

A part of me does want to ramble about some OP characters on here since that’s basically the purpose of a side account, but I just know I have nothing proper to say since I haven’t exactly spent my years studying this bunch, so just take my artworks as a replacement…although I will admit that my current list of characters I want to draw at some point also features those whose designs I simply enjoy in some way without necessarily caring about them as a whole, and if my top priority section does actually get finished one day, I’ll probably move on to those as well if I still feel like it. I suppose I might give a heads up if I’m drawing someone more so for the sake of designs, just in case anyone got curious about it, but I might forget to do so as well.

As a side note, I do find it quite amusing that my favorite character so far is probably someone else, and while I can’t decide whether I want to draw them one day or not, I’ve already given the spotlight to…well…Crocodile and Smoker, as of now, without even thinking twice…but hey, priorities, am I right?

In honor of me somehow finding this manga at a local bookstore, to my extreme surprise.

I thought this artstyle would be somewhat easier to attempt than several others I’ve encountered already, mainly the hair, which…turned out to be the hardest part. Yet again, I was extremely wrong, but I hope my rendition is close enough.
