Not exactly thrifting related, but I figure it’s adjacent, and it sure is shifty, so why not send it in to the blog? Spotted this marvelous creature in the background of an antiques auction show, and a bit of internet sleuthing reveals that it did indeed sell at auction—and was promptly given a fresh coat of paint (cherry red lips and bright staring blue eyes) before being put up for sale again. Who knows where this strange beast has ended up by now…a dusty corner of someone’s storage shed, most likely.
