i also desperately want a kiss next episode but there’s something so special about how, despite all the sex lestat has had this season, just being near louis felt like the most intimate he’s been with someone. i think it really says something that lestat, a survivor of sexual assault, has learned to use his body as a defense mechanism (like with armand) or as a bargaining chip (like with gabi) but he doesn’t feel the need to do that with louis. his desire for louis is a genuine vulnerable feeling, not a performance like it usually is for others idk idk

I love the Neuvillette - Wriothesley - Sigewinne dynamic because its so unbelievably wild. Sigewinne practically helped raise Wriothesley in the Fortress. Neuvillette canonically sees himself as the Melusine's parent and Sigewinne sees herself as one of his familiars. Whoever Neuvillette's suitor/suitress is would be a stepparent to the Melusines. Wriothesley is Sigewinne's stepparent/best friend/pseudo-son. Neuvillette is robbing the cradle but Wriothesley is robbing the grave. Of the three of them the pastel one has a gun. Like this is a Maury episode
