August 16, 1927 The Letters of Vita Sackville-West to Virginia Woolf (1924-1941)
“She was a storm. Not the kind you run from. The kind you chase.”
— r.h.sin
“It’s sad when people who gave you the best memories, become a memory.”
— Unknown
I'm sorry for all the times my mental health made me a bad friend.
and a bad partner
December is a bewitching month. The grey of cold teeters on the edge of becoming the most enchanting blue.
George R.R. Martin
You're Losing Me & lyric parallels
“My only relationship goal is to be with a person who motivates me to become a great person and tells me the potential I don’t see in myself.”
— Unknown
Overthinkers are the hardest type of people to disappoint; they already expect you to.
Nah, we’re just disappointed that we were right.
— Ocean Vuong, Because It’s Summer
i'm a simple girl: i see sunlight on the water, i find god
my five year plan? read a lot of books. visit museums. walk through woods. stand in a river. adopt a little kitty. drink lemonade while sitting in a rocking chair on my porch.
Truth is that the heart needs more forms of love from your partner than just romantic love. It needs the nurturing and unconditional love like the one that comes from a parent. It needs the love that helps you achieve your maximum potential, that empowers your virtues and is patient with your flaws like that of a teacher. It needs the love of a friend who will listen without judgment, who will laugh with you and be your confidant and accomplice. It needs the devoted love of a healer who will tend to your wounds and hurts and never turn a blind eye to your suffering but rather help the healing process knowing all the time the healing and the timing is all yours. Love is more than just romance and passion, and sooner or later it will die out if you do not nurture all the other faces of love. For if love has a thousand faces, how bland would it be if my love for you were the same one all the time.
