In this Ramen Rater Top Ten List, Indomie Keriting Goreng Spesial proves itself to be the ultimate noodle champion! But wait. It doesn't stop there: Indomie Goreng Ayam Panggang comes as the runner-up, followed by Mie Sedaap Kari Spesial on number 5. 

Gimana ya... Memang negara mie instan sih! :P

Truly the best instant noodles I’ve ever had. I love these – the noodles are flat and very tasty. The seasonings provide a broad range of flavors. Spicy, sweet, full of good flavor. I enjoyed this bowl with some turkey, fried eggs, pickled ginger, fried shallot and Sriracha (Red Rooster) sauce around Thanksgiving.

Tumblr, we failed: We forgot to do our #100best post yesterday. (Blame the really huge project we’ve been working on for the past week. No, seriously.)

So today, you get two #100best dishes: First up is the That Way at This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef, a stellar roast beef sandwich featuring creamy Lioni Latticini mozzarella and a dousing of juicy gravy.

Next, check out the beef rendang at Nyonya. The meat is simmered low and slow in a fragrant mixture of clove, cinnamon, lemongrass and coconut milk, and is so tender you could practically cut it with a knife handle.

Aaaaand now we’re hungry.

Chicken steak, mushroom sauce with mash potato, holycowsteak!

Review: The chicken is cooked to perfection. Juicy yet not fatty. The mash potato is smooth and seasoned perfectly. Mushroom sauce isnt over powering the chicken. The vegetable a little bit too salty, but cooked nicely.

The only problem is the chicken is a bit over marinated or seasoned. It’s kinda too much. The flavor is too strong.. Other than that is perfect! The price, the food, and the service

Last Saturday Singapore received a generous share of retro soul, indie electro, and a dash of modern disco via Mayer Hawthorne's DJ set at The White Rabbit.

And of course, besides that eclectic, seemingly mismatched (yet smoothly blended) mishmash of music across various genres, his own tracks filled the friendly air with occasional singalong from the happy attendees.

Attending to our contributor Amanda Rizkita's question as to why he was playing a DJ set instead of performing with his full band (envy directed at fans in our homeland Indonesia), he replied:

Oh, yeah we're planning on that. This is just sort of, a trial, you know.

So how about starting to look forward to that possibility?

(And oh, adding to our amusement, Mr. Hawthorne looked EXACTLY like his latest album cover in real life. Aw, we know right—how dandy.)
