Hi,I was reading your post about kpoptown and the same thing happened to me. In my case I ordered 19 albums and was hit with custom and handling fees. Is there a way I can have a huge haul and avoid fees from stores like yesasia,ktown4u etc, :)

Hello there!For kpoptown, i don't think there is any way to avoid the customs, because the invoice is so obviously pasted on the package. Kpoptown will not put another price on the invoice because that could possibly lead them to some legal issues, so it is understandable ;) Yesasia, on the other hand, will put a lower amount on the package, without you telling them to. They help us avoid customs on their own, which is pretty cool xD Thats why i often do big hauls on Yesasia because they also offer free shipping when you buy more then 39$ ;)But still, DVDheaven (aka ktown4u) is my favourite online store for albums. They offer you a choice to mark your package as a gift or not and whether to include an invoice or not. You can also choose the amount they'll put on the package. That way you can avoid the customs by putting a lower, but still realistic, amount on your package :) i like DVDheaven because, generally speaking, it is cheaper than Yesasia, despite the shipping costs ;)Hope this helps x

Hey hello, uhmm so I was checking your tag for dvdheaven because I ordered something from them and and I would ask you something, it is normal if I order on december 10th and still didn't recieve it? I live in south america and the tracking number says it's expired. What should I do? D:. Seems that you've had good experiences. Awesome blog btw ^^

It is quite odd that your package hasn't arrived yet :/ It should not take more than 3 weeks normally. I advise you to contact DVDheaven and tell them about your situation. Maybe for some reason, the package is shipped back to them, who knows ;)

My order was placed on 26 December 2014. It was shipped a day before the release date, on the 29th of December ^^ No tracking code, because i chose for the cheapest shipping method. But honestly, i highly recommend you to opt for the cheapest shipping method, because: 1) it is cheap; 2) it’s still fast; 3) not that easily stuck at the customs! :D I got my package on the 9th of January. It arrived in less than two weeks ^^

Those calendar cards are so handy! ^^ I’m thinking of putting the card of the month in my wallet, and change it up every month :D

But WHAT THE HELL happened to my Kyuhyun card?! He got smudge on his face :/ why kyuhyun …. :(

AND I AM SO HAPPY, Zhoumi & Henry are FINALLY on it! :D Even tho they emphasized it’s “suju AND suju-m” instead of saying it’s “suju”, i’m okay with it ^^ Because in my heart, they are part of SuJu, but if putting that on the calendar would offend others (ahem, Only13’s), wel then yeah, differentiate them. But like hey, what’s in a name, right?

But overall, a really great buy, you get a lot for your money :D Unfortunately, i don’t use a schedular, because i have my iPhone, but still, it’s something extra ! :D

What's wrong with kpoptown?

Hi! There is nothing wrong with kpoptown, but the thing is, their shipping price is quite expensive (compared to other sites). They also like to attach the whole invoice on the package so when your order is a bit on the expensive side, the chances are high that the package will be stuck at the customs and you will have to pay for the taxes. Kpoptown refuses to write a lower price on the package to avoid the customs ;) I actually quite like kpoptown because they have stuff that other sites don't (merch, lightsticks,...) but when my order is above 30$, i prefer to buy it on another site! Hope this helps ^^

This is a HUGE album (if fully unfolded, it's like 1m50) xDDDD Perfect to put it on display or on a shrine or something :p I got a Shindong photocard!! My first time getting him, just when he is preparing to leave for the army: coincidence? I think not!

Very beautiful album, very unlike any Japanese album out there, don't you think? Normally, Japanese albums aren't as extravagant as the Korean releases, but this really took it to another level.. Looking very fancy.... This is the first time i think the packaging is worth the money i paid for the album ! xD

ORDER EXPERIENCE:

I made my order on the 4th of December and my lightstick was shipped the next day. The estimated delivery date is between January 1st en 21st! That's more than a month! :( But I guess it's normal because I made my order close to christmas and new year, so yeah ;)

But LUCKILY my order arrived sooner than expected! On the 29th of December my package already arrived. I was scared the the lightstick would arrive broken, because it is quite fragile.... but I'm happy that's not the case! ^^

Like we, ELF, all know, the SS6 lightstick's design is not very luxurious (?), to put it nicely xD Actually, the stick itself looks kinda cheap and a bit too fragile. BUT the lightstick is very pretty as a whole! I think if we handle it carefully, it won't break.... hopefully! Honestly tho, how many SS6 lightsticks are broken already (most of them are broken by the boys themselves! :p *cough*Donghae*cough* xD)

ORDER EXPERIENCE:

I pre-ordered this album (+folded poster) on the 8th of September 2014. The album was going to be released at the 12th, however Kpoptown only shipped it on the 15th, maybe because the 12th was a friday so they waited until the weekend is over to ship it. 

Seven business days later, on 24th of September, it arrived! The packaging is quite discreet but (one of the reasons i avoid buying from Kpoptown) the invoice with the REAL prices is pasted on the package :p This could cause some trouble from the customs but fortunately, this time, my package was not stopped by them ;)

The package included a A5-format official photocard, given by SM due to the misprints on both version A and B. It's very pretty :D

This is my second time buying from Kpoptown. The first time wasn't quite a pleasant experience, so I avoided them since. But now i thought, why not give them a second chance so here i am xD

Kpoptown doesn't give us a lot of choice when it comes to shipping methods: Standard Mail or EMS. The shipping price of both methods are quite expensive, although you do get a tracking code ;)

And the album is pure gold, as i said before :p There is little difference between version A and B, they only differ in packaging and photobook. The packaging of version B is more simple and the photobook has a bit of a matte finish. Should you buy A or B...? I would say A, because - one - the packaging is nicer and - two - you could help SJ win a daesang by buying it! :D But ofcourse, buying both of them would be the best!

ORDER EXPERIENCE:

THE BOYS ARE BACK!!! This time, they came back with MAMACITA, and of course, once they announced their album on 28th August 2014, I immediately pre-ordered it. The album was shipped on its release date, which is the 2nd of September. I did not receive a email saying it was shipped but all the information (such as your tracking code) is on the site of DVDHeaven ;) I ordered the one with poster in tube.

Today, 12 September 2014, my package arrived! :D To my surprise, the package was very long. That's because the poster and the album is shipped together! I noticed a lot of tape on my package with the word "Douane" on it; douane means "Customs" in my language, so i guessed it has been held up and controlled by the customs! The price on the package was low (13$, we only have to pay taxes when it's above 30$), but i guess the size of the package makes one doubt ... :p Due to the suspicion, they decided to control my package :/ But yeah, I didn't have to pay, so it's good xD

The shipping would be faster if the package wasn't held up by the customs. Nevertheless, the album did arrive quite fast! less than two weeks ^^

A negative this is that my poster is quite damaged :S They put the poster in a tube which is too small for the poster, so one side of my poster is a bit messed up... The plastic around the album is also torn but actually, i don't believe the damage is because of the "bad packaging" of DVDHeaven, but because of the bad handling of the customs. They did open up my poster tube to control it so I blame them xD

OMG OMG OMG OMG, This is the FIRST TIME I got my bias in a Super Junior (as a whole) album TT____TT I thought I would have Ryeowook (because if you are familiar with this blog, you know I ALWAYS have Ryeowook xD) and because I recognize their signatures, I didn't even look at the back side.... then i turned it!! My face was literally like : O____O I'm so so so happy with the photocard :D

DVDHeaven (or KTOWN4U) gave one free fanmade card with this order, and I also got a Kyuhyun xD

So, if you're asking if you should buy this album...? HELL YES! You don't even have to be an ELF, this album is pure gold! :D The songs are AMAZING, the photobook is super pretty and thick, and you even get a photocard! It is honestly worth every penny you bought it for ^^

My favourite songs from this album are: Mamacita, Midnight Blues, Evanesce, Shirt and Islands. But honestly EVERY SINGLE SONG is great! You can see that the boys really put a lot of effort into this ^^

I pre-ordered the version B from KpopTown, so stay tuned!

Hi, guys. For anyone who bought Etude House’s lock n’ summer liner, I just want to inform you that Beautynetkorea is having a safety recall and you can get your money refunded. Although I didn’t buy my Etude House eyeliner from them I have noticed that it was really dry aswell. Please be aware of this before you purchase this product! :)

ORDER EXPERIENCE:

Youinseoul's eBay store sells make-up and also holds auctions. This item I won in an auction. I paid on the 12th of May and it was immediately shipped the next day. There was no shipping fee but i also didn't get a tracking code. A week later, on the 19th i received my package! It was packaged in a bubble wrap envelope, which is good for photo cards and/or CD's, but for a bulky item like this clay mask, the packaging is quite underwhelming. The box is a bit damaged because of this not-so-great packaging. (see pictures)

REVIEW & COMMENT:

The texture didn't see so clay-ish. It's more a jelly-type of texture, especially noticeable when i spread it out on my face. But after a few minutes it hardens a lot and i almost cant move my face. >< I also felt some kind of tingly feel. I washed it off after 10 minutes and my skin seems much brighter. I have some blackheads on my nose but after using it, they seem less noticable!

Although i like the effect of it, it does hurt a bit when it hardens and that creates a tingly feeling.

I think this clay is great for people with oily skin and clogged pores! ^^

ORDER EXPERIENCE: I paid for the card on the 5th of May 2014 and they shipped it on the 8th. I received the card on the 13th of the same month.

The card is safely put in a top loader and a bubble wrap envelope. There was no invoice in or on the envelope so that's nice. No need to make the customs suspicious with a price on the envelope xD  It did come with a tracking code so you can follow you photo card :)

ORDER EXPERIENCE: I won these cards in an auction on eBay and paid on the same day: on the 26th of April. They shipped it on the 28th. I received the card on the 5th of May.

After I won the auction, I almost immediately got a mail with the invoice. I had to pay for the shipping fee for the first card, but each additional card is free of charge! ^^ I received a tracking code shortly after they shipped my photo cards.

The cards were put together in a top loader and it came with a little thank you note :p
