Here's a big shadamy illustration for mermay2026! It was the first idea I had for mermay before being swepped up by ideas and making all the other sketches. I had no stamina left to render the hat correctly and I decided to not give a crap.

No judgement here, but during CPR shouldn't the person who's being performed on (aka Shadow), have there nose pinched shut, So the air actually makes it to their lungs? Is Sonic just not aware yet he's doing it wrong, during his panic? Or is this an accidental error?

He's panicking pretty much at this point. In this AU, he is a little inexperienced when it comes to anything first aid. There is also sleep deprivation added to the mix here, including hunger, freezing cold waters can make any mortal not thinking clearly.

I tried my best, I hope that clears things up!
