Resuming Tumblr after 5+ years

With everything going on in the world amidst COVID-19, I’ve been missing a certain balance between creativity consumption that I was fulfilling when everything in the world was normal. I’ve noticed that every app that is now popular is solely about consumption, netflix, facebook, tiktok, all revolve solely around watching. I know that you can post on both facebook & tiktok but I feel I find myself endlessly scrolling. I forgot how much I actually put in to this site and interacting with the people on it. 

I don’t know if any of y’all are still here, if so, hi! 

I don’t even know what this is supposed to be honestly, I literally just hopped back on Tumblr for the first time in about 5 or so years.

you should never date someone for the sake of dating someone. you should be good friends, if not best friends with your partner. if you cant go to your partner for personal advice, if youre afraid to call your partner out on something, if you cant laugh and have fun with your partner, or if your conversations are only ever performative affection, you don’t have a good relationship
