Me: "Damn people are REALLY BAD at knowing when to tag their eyestrain art/images...either that or they just don't care about photosenitive epileptic people like me. I feel really sad now." Anyways! HERE'S YOUR HANDY GUIDE TO WHAT CAN COUNT AS EYESTRAIN! I'm pulling this straight from the Artfight rules page about what needs to be labeled and filtered as eyestrain because it's VERY helpful and VERY accurate! I also know not everybody has an AF account and might not always have access to this handy guide, and this is an important resource; That's why I'm sharing it here! (under the cut)

1. the transparent ones - mal du pays hides when the background is bright and comes out when it is dark

i made the second one after noticing that a cloud on the left side was kinda odile-shaped, which prompted me to draw in the rest of the party, and then i kept adding more things to it to fill more space. it was fun!! i like the emptiness of the first one a lot, though. and that one has a hat

i decided against these because i like the way the full rectangle image looks, but there were thoughts. there was intent. there were attempts.

For ArtFight 2025, I started a diptych of @voidpineapple and @fransu's characters, Polly and Yurei. I didn't quite complete them before the end of the event, so I took my time finishing later. They were both really fun to draw! :D
