'Advocacy makes me want to get out of bed every day'
Murrin's episode of HEnabled is out now! Listen on Sptify now by clicking here.
Episode info: Murrin is an EDI practictioner who specialises in sharing her lived experience as a person at the intersections of diability, race, gender, and sexuality. Her story is one that is less spoken about; Murrin left school at 16 and entered university via a Higher National Certificate (HNC) as a mature student, all while also managing multiple physical disabilities and undiagnosed neurodivergence. We also had a great time talking about accessibility for internships, eco-ableism, and Murrin's work as the former EDI officer at the Queen Margaret University Student Union. It's a great listen and I really reccommend checking it out wherever you get your podcasts :)

'New Episode Alert! // 18. Disability advocacy, accessible internships, and when institutions listen: Murrin's Story // Out now // Listen wherever you get your podcasts'. In the middle of the screen is the show logo and Spotify code.
Two new episodes of HEnabled are out now! More info below, Listen here
I had no idea Tumblr has post scheduling and I went on holiday, so it's double marketing time (whoops!)
OUT NOW:

17. Managing Diabetes, Student Voice, and Researching Safe AI use for Insulin Pumps: Tom's Story

There are two very wonderful episodes going around in the world of HEnabled this week! Listen to the show now Eleanor's episode was released this past Sunday. In it, Eleanor talks about how her experience of an anxiety disorder shaped her journey in higher education. It's a wonderful and relatable episode with loads of insightful tangents! This Sunday Nuh's episode will be released. Nuh went from completing school with a single GCSE to now being a PhD candidate at the University of York! He also lives with multiple neurodiversities and a long-term health condition. If you're interested in being a guest on HEnabled, please don't hesitate to drop me a message. I'm always looking for more people to interview! :)
"Everything I do that involves students is through the eyes of the younger version of me"

Time to see what's going on in the world of HEnabled this week! Last Sunday, I had Martin on the show. We talked about his experiences as a mature student with dyslexia who has completed five master's degrees at elite institutions all over the UK. It's a fantastic episode, you can listen to it here
Looking forward to this weekend, my friend Katharine will have their episode coming out! Katharine and I chatted about their experiences as an archaeological researcher on autism in the Palaeolithic era as a person with autism. Their episode will be out this Sunday (22nd June) wherever you get your podcasts. Listen to the show now
Thanks all! <3
"As individuals, we are our own worst enemy. If you have a dream to study at a particular university, don't talk yourself out of it." This week on the HEnabled podcast, I was joined by the wonderful Martin! Martin struggled with school due to his dyslexia and did not enter higher education until he was in his 30s. He now holds five master's degrees from elite UK universities, including LSE, Imperial, UCL, Royal Holloway, Oxford, and Cambridge. He currently works at PWC. This week's episode truly showcases Martin's persistence and tenacity in all kinds of educational environments. You can listen to it now on Spotify via the embedded link or wherever you get your podcasts!
The 10th (proper) episode of HEnabled is out now! Show it some love <3
New episodes of HEnabled are out! Sometimes marketing with a disability can be tough so excuse the VERY belated post 😅 The following episodes are now out:
Pad's Story: Navigating university with a new ASD diagnosis.
Sam's Burning Questions: My friend Sam does not have any disabilities but wanted to learn more about disability in a judgement-free environment; I gave him a platform to do so in this episode.
Marie-France's Story: Getting reasobable adjustments in both university and internships with a late ADHD diagnosis.
You can listen to the show on Spotify here or wherever you get your podcasts! I would love to know what you think. A new episode will be out this Sunday!
