Hikaru: When I was filming “3B Kinpachi Sensei”, I was at the peak of my rebellious stage. I just hated to go home.
Yabu: It did happen~ That rebellious period!
Hikaru: It wasn’t as if I was on bad terms with my parents, and I knew whatever she said was right, but her words made too much of a point, so I was like “Just keep quiet already!!”
Yabu: For me, I quarreled with my parents upfront and easily said out words like “Keep quiet!” With regards to that, I have no excuses though (laugh)
Hikaru: It’s probably a path which everyone has to go through. Even when we were doing our activities as juniors, I was in that teenage phase and wanted the photographers to take cool photos of me, but they said “Stick to each other closer” and I was like “No way~!” (laugh)
Yabu: You were probably embarrassed too.
Hikaru: Also, there was a period of time where I was still heading back and forth from Sendai and couldn’t join in the rehearsals. After that, Yabu taught me the dance steps. But it was too hard and I threw my temper at Yabu instead and said “It’s impossible for me to remember everything!” (laugh)
Yabu: Hahaha, it happened.
Hikaru: Thinking of it now, it was really ridiculous.
Yabu: But I had a mind of a child too back then, and thought “That’s true, it’s really hard” and I wasn’t angry though. After that when we became high school students, we somehow bid farewell to that phase, but next, it was the younger members’ turn to enter their rebellious stage (laugh)
Hikaru: Yuto was quite obvious.
Yabu: Yup. So I always went to interact with him on purpose, like “Yutooo~~ put in more effort~!” to make him annoyed (laugh). But with that, it results in laughs and makes the atmosphere more amiable.
Hikaru: Have you heard of the members being spoilt? The other day, for some reason, Yamada suddenly told me “I want a cup” and requested one from me (laugh). It wasn’t even his birthday or anything. But I said “Sure~” and immediately bought him one.
Yabu: The one best at such requests is definitely Chinen. The other time too, I used earphones which I bought myself, and Chinen just came beside me and said “….. Kota, that’s nice~ those earphones”
Hikaru: There are alot of hidden messages in that short sentence of his.
Yabu: Yeah. He said “I want them too. Kota, buy them. If possible, now❤” and I found myself placing an order right on the spot. How gullible of me (laugh)
Hikaru: If you think of it, it’s really annoying but yet you don’t feel annoyed. That’s a special skill (laugh). But when Yabu says “I don’t want to go home”, you also show off the spoilt side of yourself (laugh)
Yabu: Hahaha, I do. When everyone goes to eat together, it gets so fun. And even though they say “We should leave soon”, I say “Just awhile more!”
Hikaru: It was like that too when Yabu, me, Yamada and Chinen went to eat.
Yabu: After we left the restaurant, I said “Let’s walk for abit” and the 4 of us strolled around and it was fun.
Hikaru: Honestly, I was having fun too (laugh). We also dropped by a shrine and 4 of us took a photo.
Yabu: Then Yamada also said “Let’s walk to Tokyo Tower~” (laugh). By the way, this was something that happened a few months ago.
Hikaru: JUMP is really peaceful~ (laugh) If I have to ask something from Yabu…. For the next World Cup, I want you to keep explaining to me on the phone! During the matches, even if I send you texts, you just ignore me.
Yabu: Yup. Hikaru kept sending me mails with questions during the match~! (laugh). But I don’t have time to reply, so I think talking on the phone would be better too. Or rather, why can’t we just watch together!! (laugh) For me to request something from Hikaru…. cook a hotpot for me!
Hikaru: Sure, no problem
Yabu: Thinking of this, I haven’t been to Hikaru’s current house yet. I heard that you called the juniors to your house. But even though I haven’t even been there yet~! (laugh)

Yabu: One of the staff members who had taken care of us for a long time, will be transferred somewhere else this spring. Although I feel sad, I also feel excited thinking of what kind of relationship I can build up with the new staff. There are many people who are moving into a new environment from spring, everyone, work hard!
Hikaru: It has been a custom for these few years, for me and a few of my friends to go and see Mount Fuji during the New Year, and I use a photo which I took of Mount Fuji as my display picture in my phone. This year, we also dropped by a place where we could taste wine and it was fun too. I bought a few bottles and drank hot wine at home.

Yabu: To Fujiwara Jouichiro-kun. For some reason, I have always liked the name “Fujiwara Jouichiro) (laugh), so I always call your name for no reason. It just sounds cool. Although we don’t have much common interactions for now, if there is a chance, let’s have a chat!
Hikaru: To all of SixTONES. Sorry that I couldn’t give all of you new years money (laugh). I really wanted to give you but I was so busy during the year end that I didn’t have time to withdraw money. When I met all of you during the New Year, there wasn’t any money in my wallet (laugh)
