In my last update, I mentioned that I got some offers on my book, and now I’m back to let you know that my deal has officially been announced!

My debut YA Fantasy BLOOD OF SILVER is getting published in Fall 2026 by McElderry Books/Simon & Schuster (a Big 5 pub!) Crazy to think this whole journey started with my fanfiction on here!

Omg I just saw that you are going to be a published author and I’m so happy for you!!! I first discovered you on wattpad where I read in another life. My mind was blown. I read out loud the first few chapters to one of my friends just to show them how amazing I thought it was. Some time later I read the conman and the maid series and that too. Jaw dropped. Unfortunately I have to say that I have not read any of your other series BUT ONLY BECAUSE IM SAVING THEM. Like saving the best things for last. I have a long to be read list Though you might have convinced me to speed up the process…

None of the series on here and has nothing to do with H i’m afraid 😂 it’s a YA Fantasy (although the premise is based on My Girl 👀 girl meets childhood (imaginary) friend again at her mother’s funeral). There’s yearning and romance and angst that you normally see in my writing hehe 🤭 AND MAGIC! (think Ghibli and Alice in Wonderland)! I share a lot about it on my instagram @/alliewritesalot

I'M GOING TO BE A PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!!!!

Hi Tumblr friends,

It's Allie (again) if you remember me. I'm the author of the Flatmate series (Harry Styles fanfic), which I was meant to self-publish before I vanished from Tumblr. In the last life update, I told you I wasn't going to self-pub anymore and was pursuing trad-pub/trying to get an agent. So here's an update:

I got an agent last August for my YA Fantasy pitched as SPIRITED AWAY meets ONE DARK WINDOW. We went on submission in October and now (the week before my 27th birthday!!!), I finally have good news to share!

I GOT NOT ONLY ONE BUT TWO OFFERS FROM TWO AMAZING PUBLISHERS AND ONE OF THEM IS A BIG ONE!!!! We're in the negotiation stage right now so there's nothing more I can share, but it's crazy to think this whole journey started with me posting fanfiction on this website. Now I'm going to see my book in big bookshops in London my dream city, also my home now!

Once again, I'm so grateful for all the friendships I made on Tumblr. I wouldn't be where I am without you!!!! More soon xxxxxx
