The Unheavenly Creature
Your sinners screamed and pulpits preached
about a truth that would not be defiled.
By death and demon
dirt and dark
You begged to be transcended above this wasted realm.
But upon the night of desert danced
And I dreamed of dreams with skies pregnant with the stars
I scream and rant, wail and howl
With this rich unrestful realm.
A million songs sing so sweet
Upon this plane you’ve deemed so fowl.
I delight in the day that I will die
And my soul will be summoned the sacred spiral.
My flesh will wilt and rot to nurture earth and sky
For I am an unheavenly creature.
