Tree bark textures. They are one of natureâs beauty that we always fail to notice as we pass by them mindlessly almost daily. Well, most of us anyway.
All pictures taken from different trees, mostly on different days, but Iâm not sure if any of them were of the same species.

I used to think it was important to have common interests with the person that you are in a relationship with but now I think it is more important to be similar in other aspects. like how kind you are. how you treat the people you care about, how you treat strangers. how you deal with anger. how you deal with pain. and not necessarily dealing with all these things the same way but being perceptive enough to understand what action each situation calls for. itâs important for both people to be on the same page about what that action should be. itâs important to me to have that kind of synchrony.

sometimes i think about how constellations are an entirely man-made construct and donât actually exhist inherently in nature. i mean, the universe just gave us stars, and we saw art and myths and stories in them. the capacity that humans have for seeing purpose in the incidental makes me realize just how lonely we are on this planet, desperately searching for meaning elsewhere in the universe.
âIâm slowly learning that even if I react, it wonât change anything, it wonât make people suddenly love and respect me, it wonât magically change their minds. Sometimes itâs better to just let things be, let people go, donât fight for closure, donât ask for explanations, donât chase answers and donât expect people to understand where youâre coming from. Iâm slowly learning that life is better lived when you donât center it on whatâs happening around you and center it on whatâs happening inside you instead. Work on yourself and your inner peace.â
