Feed me some shoreiji headcanons
Thank you for the request bb <3 I decided to write them more platonically, I hope thats alright!!
- They play so many video games together. As I’ve mentioned before, Shorter is a huge Super Smash Bros fan and when he finds another Nintendo gamer they never shut up about it
- Go shopping together all the time. Eiji starts dressing more “out there” and Shorter is so proud. Bright colors, patterns, weird sunglasses. Shorter gets Eiji hooked on it.
- They cook a lot together, especially when Eiji and Ash first start living together and Eiji has to learn how to cook for him. Eiji ends up learning a lot of interesting Chinese recipes and really ends up developing a taste for Chinese food quickly.
- When Eiji has some free time, he offers to waiter at Chang Dai once a week. He loves Shorter and Nadia both a lot, and although they don’t pay him, it’s worth it for the food that he gets for free.
- Shorter gets Eiji into some niche music as well. Eiji, in turn, shows him some of his favorite rock bands from Japan. They love jamming out to music together.
- (They both secretly love pop music as well. No one does a better duet of “Money Honey” by Lady Gaga better than these two.)
- Shorter, Eiji, and Ash all love Gorillaz a lot too. Strobelite is Shorter’s fav to dance to, while Ash and Eiji keep it classic with DARE and Dirty Harry.
- Shorter takes Eiji to a rave once, and although Eiji never goes again he was grateful to have seen something like that LOL
- Shorter is SO good at picking out gifts. He always knows exactly what to get Eiji for his birthday or holidays, and Eiji treasures the gifts so much.
- Eiji gets Shorter into the show Terrace House and they won’t watch the new episode if they’re not watching it together. They text about it all day.
- Shorter, of course, is fiercely protective of Eiji. If their ever out and someone so much as gives Eiji a bad look, Shorter will loudly make it known that he doesn’t like it
