Still not over how all of the women are drawn in a completely diff style from their male counterparts in Dr stone đâŚ. Every time I see anything from it, I become lost because the artist never used to draw his women like that outside of Dr stone lmfao.
The women of Dr Stone look exactly like this to me
Yk I really love Zed_Technician's games and how they manage to make characters that feel like they're real people, going through real things, especially when they tie themes of poverty and trying to get by with what you have and having these characters trying to support each other through hard times not only in their daily lives, but also in the dire situations they're put in
I also love how they make older people the protagonists of these games, especially plus sized older women, considering A.) older women are hardly ever given the respect they deserve, B.) plus sized people are hardly ever given any representation or respect, and C.) in this age and especially in this economy, it's common for people in poverty to be plus sized due to lack of access to produce and healthier foods due to increasing prices and having to work all the time.
That's why I honestly find it tiring seeing people act so strange whenever they see the character designs from these games, either with disgust and repulsion or acting like they're "dirty" or "sexual" just on the basis that they're plus sized. It's like these people have never seen a plus sized person in their life except for in porn or other things like that, or maybe they have and they just don't treat them with respect.
It sucks because there are so many plus sized people that look like that (obviously not exactly the same, bc, you know, cartoon proportions, but at least similar). It sucks cuz I have family members that are plus sized as well as loved ones, and it sucks just seeing people act the way they do whenever they see someone that isn't skinny, yk?
Sorry if it got ranty towards the end but- I really do like these games, I really do like these characters and the way they are written, and I hope we get to a point where people stop acting so odd about plus sized characters in games. This dev is doing a lot of interesting things and I really do look forward to seeing anything new they create!
This is just my two cents because Iâve been rewatching a lot of playthroughs of his games, but I agree. Like every time someone is like âooooo thicc sheep thicc mama rabbit ooooâ I canât help but think likeâ my mom has that body type. Hell I have that body type, if I was cis I probably would have aged into a body that looks like hers and the characters that Zed designs. IE, plus sized with a big chest and butt. And I still do have a very stocky, round, short body thatâs plus sized. So when I see his characters, I canât help but picture someone like my mom, or me, in his situations, like someone just trying to get by. And idk, seeing everyone assume itâs a fetish first and ignoring all the good work put in to design relatable characters who feel like someone who could exist. Thatâs not to say that that body type isnât attractive, it is! I like plus sized women! But to act like âlmaoooooo the dev has a TYPEâ instead of thinking that maybe his âtypeâ/what he considers attractive is informing how he writes his characters, or that he might just write that way because itâs what he knowsâ idk it ruffles my feathers the same way it does yours.
Anyway TL;DR to anyone new to this indie scene, play Zed_Technicanâs games, theyâre really good. Even if theyâre a few years old and âfurryâ, he has a real gift. Please support him if you can.

beautiful like to reblog ratio on this
That's because people are reblogging it every time they see it. Like I'm doing right now lmao
I hope Steve is still really fucking annoying because thatâs a core part of his character to me
every day i get down on my knees and pray that his cock explodes. in public.
y'okay can we stop pretending yet. like can we all acknowledge that eating disorders are chic again, and it's going to kill someone.
and like. do we have to keep gently phrasing things to protect naturally-thin people's feelings. in my life it has never been fashionable to be fat. "fat" is still a bad word. there has never been institutional power pushing people to gain weight; no trillion-dollar industry to "fix" skinny people. a larger body type has never been over-represented in models, influencers, celebrities. sure, people might say "i'm worried for your health," but they do it with respect and gentleness, like they're talking to a scared deer.
every single fucking time i talk about this, i have to be so careful with what i say, in case i offend even one skinny person. it is just true that skinny people have social capital across many cultures. there is a reason you almost never hear someone say "i wish i was fat," but you will constantly see people say "I wish i was thin." and yet inevitably some skinny person will tell me: i thought you wanted body positivity. it is the same fucking attitude as when a cis man says "when you say men have power, well, i've been bullied for being a man. i thought you believe in mental health awareness. don't you know men have a higher suicide rate?"
two things can be true at once: your experience being bullied for being thin was terrible. and people with larger bodies probably have it worse.
i have been big and small. i know many other people who have been big and small. trust what i'm about to tell you: being small is much easier. the world is kinder to you. people treat you better. honestly, this pattern occurs pretty much regardless of gender - my guy friends have confided that they'd rather be bullied for being thin than be bullied for being fat. if you're skinny, the pressure might be to gain weight, sure, but it's often to do so in a way that keeps you skinny - to gain muscle, specifically.
thinness is seen as innate and natural, genetic. whereas carrying any fat - that is a moral failing. it is assumed to be related to your character, your personality. i have seen people equate it to discipline, to hygiene. that bias is why we need to talk about this.
of course i want nobody to make a comment about anyone's bodies. and i think that hyper-thinness and an obsession with weight loss and a recession and a rise of conservative values... all of this is very fucking concerning. we are watching a return of "pro-ana" content, reframed as choice feminism, "health-conscious" behavior, "looksmaxxing". it's fucking terrifying.

the moon is a lesbian and she hates terfs
the moon told me personally that she thinks youâre obnoxious and hopes you never get a girlfriend
I have a theory that the moon IS a trans woman cause sheâs always associated with feminine things but when we saw the craters that look like a face we called it âThe Man In The Moonâ. Sheâs a woman with a face that people may perceive as male. Sheâs a beautiful trans woman
the moon is a beautiful trans woman who hates terfs and shows her face every night to remind other trans women they are beautiful and strong and loved and important and wonderful and that terfs and their opinions dont matter
I wanna add to this if itâs ok?? In Hindu mythology, Chandra, the moon, was originally thought of as a male deity. However, as time went on, symbolism involving the moon and the name âChandraâ itself became identified with femininity, with beautiful girls being described as having âmoon-like faces,â with their dark, long hair reminding lovers of the midnight sky, and names like âNilaaâ (âmoonâ in Tamil) and âInduâ (in Sanskrit) are now pretty much now completely girl names!Â
AlsO Chandra is married to 27 wives, who are all stars. The moon is a trans lesbian and is gay for all the stars in the sky.Â
Reblog if youâre gay for the trans lesbian poly moon who supports all woman.

How to not make a "disco-like"
Just copy the dialogue system and game play
Only take inspiration from DE and one other thing
Try to make similar jokes
Put "politics" in it (=have a dialogue option like "yes I am a massive communist/I don't have an opinion/I am a nationalist"
Make the protagonist quirky and take drugs
Congrats on making the most derivative thing ever
How to make a disco-like:
Read a lot of different things. Random Wikipedia pages. Niche eastern European literature from the 50s. Niche philosophy
Make the world building make sense
Come up with a premise that's different from DE
And with a different tone
Invent new tropes
Write good
In conclusion have only as much connection to DE as DE had to Planescape Torment and Fallout
