Im sorry. I cant do this anymore.
You sent him the messages. He was on a hunt and the chances of actually messaging or calling you back were slim. And when he even got the messages it would probably already be too late. But that’s were you were wrong. He saw the message as it was sent to him.
“Y/N?” Dean asked when you answered the phone. “Y/N can you hear me? Are you there?” Dean’s voice was panicky sounding. “Please, Y/N answer me.”
“I’m here.” You reply in a very monotone way. You don’t know why you even answered the phone. You were just a bother to the man on the other end of the line. His world would probably be better off without you in it anyways.
“You didn’t do anything did you? Please tell me you didn’t do anything.” Dean couldn’t stand when you hurt yourself. He felt like a failure when you did. “Please tell me you didn’t kill the butterfly.”
“I haven’t.” You said, your voice full of nothingness. “Yet anyways.” You look at the ground, ashamed. You often did that when you talked with Dean, whether he was in the room or not.”I can’t promise anything.” You started to break down.
“I know. It’s okay. It’s okay.” Dean sighed softly it to the receiver of the phone. He didn’t know what to say to you sometimes. He couldn’t tell you to stop or anything like that. And he knew that it would be easier if he was there, but he wasn’t. And he was at a lost as to what he should do next.
“Dean?” You ask quietly, emotion starting to return to your voice. You could tell the conversation was coming to a close and Dean would be gone soon. You didn’t know what you would do if Dean was gone. You needed to keep him there.
“Yes?” He answered softly.
“Please stay. I know your busy, but.” You stopped. It was hard asking for things and not feeling like you were annoying the person. Asking Dean what you were about to ask him was a big thing for you, you didn’t want to be rejected and left feeling stupid. “I need someone right now. You don;t have to necessarily say anything. Just can you not leave.”
“I can do that.” Dean smiled to himself slightly. Dean stayed talking with you for as long as he could, until Sam pulled him away to finish the hunt.
“I love you Y/N. Everything’s going to be okay. I’ll be home soon.” He reassured you before having to leave.
Sorry if this makes no sense. I’m not in the greatest mood. And yeah. Sorry once again.
