- Has a mute woman as the protagonist, and she isn’t “fixed” by the end, and this does not take away from her happy ending

- Deals with the racism and homophobia of the 60’s and sets a casually racist, sexist man as the primary antagonist

- Celebrates female sexuality

- Has a fantastic soundtrack

- Is a very good film

- Sexy fish man

The Shape of Water is finally in my country’s theaters and I watched it today and it was magnificent!! ;w;  gorgeous, gorgeous movie, we had a blast!! I had to animate a very quick little thing!
