Recently writing a fanfic about Silco and Powder right after ep3 in s1.

Still frustrated s2 never gave us any flashbacks and anything related with a relationship with Silco and little or at least young Jinx. I wanna know how Silco was taking care of Jinx, how they start love each other, how Powder change into Jinx, how Silco take over the lanes etc. I'd love to go deeply what was happening in general between arc 1 and 2 - but still mainly focusing on Silco and Jinx and if Arcane and no fanfiction ain't giving it to me, I guess I have to do it myself, bc I need it for my existence (I don't, but I have daddy issues).

I'm not a good writer tho and it's taking me a hella lot of time, bc English isn't my native language, but I'd still love to go as far as possible since I read too many fanfictions - I hope there is a chance it can be readable and maybe even good 🙏

Silco SO should've haunted the narrative in s2 I can't stress this enough. Like, we knew Vander, Mylo and Claggor only for 3 episodes, but their presence was felt aaaall throughout s1. And now you're telling me that a PRIMARY ANTAGONIST of s1, a leader of Zaun, Jinx's dad and The person who started the negotiations with Piltover for Zaun's independence only got a couple of mentions?? Which aren't even relevant to the plot or character motivations??? Are you LEGIT FOR REAL kidding me???? I still can't believe this happened chat.

He's literally a part of the main cast. He literally was present in every single episode of s1. And again, given just How Much was tied directly to him his death should've had just. Massive consequences. For almost every single character. And yet.

My honest reaction to this information:

No for real, I felt like I'm the only one with this issue. They moved WAY TOO QUICKLY. Like everybody... He was a main part of that season and they were like "Yeah he died.. now moving on, bc we don't have time to deal with him anymore."

When I tell you I was 100% convinced before s2 that there will be hallucinations of Silco and it happened only once. Or convinced there will be some short flashbacks from time between act 1 and act 2 in s1, when Silco was taking care of little Jinx, bc we saw nothing from that time. Mind you to tell you - Jinx memories of her DAD or at least someone who was a big part of her life - who shape her into a person she's now. She would recall the good old times with him, so why not show it like that and deepen their relationship they had? Because like it or not, they cared about each other.

Also where is the madness of Jinx? I feel like that disappeared too. Like I thought this another traumatic event will decompose her mental health eveeen more and we could finally see her breaking point - the real Jinx, her "final form".

In general s2 wanted to tell way too much, that they didn't have time for anything to be explained probably. It felt so rushed, bc they wanted to speedrun through every plot they've decide to made in final season.

Sadly for me s2 is kind of a disappointment with comparison with s1.. I really REALLY wish to love it, I really do, but I simply can't. The visuals are still an absolute masterpiece, but the writing and storytelling flopped so unbelievably hard it makes me so sad.

So much lost of potential 💔
