i: did you guys hit the streets in indy at all?
conor: after the race? oh, yeah! man, and after the race, and this is what was most disappointing, and i told my fellow indycar comrades this. i said "there were more f1 drivers out after the indy500 than there were indycar drivers at the bar, at clayton's country bar in indianapolis"... lando norris flew in from the f1 race in montreal.
i: from montreal?
conor: they were in montreal that weekend. his race sucked. the car blew up or something. we're at dinner at 10:30, and he texts me, he's like "i'm on my way", i said "what do you mean?" he's like "i'm going to be in indy in an hour"
i: he literally just told his pilot like "i don't wanna go home?"
conor: no. so apparently, i didn't know this... but mcl was doing something with him on the monday after the [indy]500. but i didn't know this. and so i'm at dinner with daniel, and i said "your boy is on his way" and he's like "awesome!" and so lando shows up to clayton's country bar at about 11:30. [we had to] go get him at the back door, run him through the kitchen and we drank till like 4 in the morning there, heheh, it was a great time! and no indycar drivers there... i invited everyone out... i don't know why- i'm still verbally and physically upset that no one came out with us... you got to enjoy life a little bit. i think we're all in a little too much of a (inaudible) :p
I will say of all F1 media figures, nobody Carlando'd like Steve Jones, like this Mr & Mr from Portugal 2020 was typically insane, asking Lando things like, Do you see him first thing in the morning? Will you miss his come-hither eyes or plump lips? Will you miss romantic walks in the rain? Did you start crying about him leaving, saying it's too soon?
Steve Jones: The union of Norris and Sainz is coming to an end. How are you boys coping with the thought of being apart?
Carlos Sainz: I struggled to sleep last night.
Lando Norris: Yeah?
Carlos Sainz: Yeah.
Lando Norris: I had a great night's sleep, actually.
Steve Jones: How soon do you see him in the morning? Do you turn over and he opens his eyes, or…?
Lando Norris: He's normally the next bedroom along, with a connecting door. Checks in on me every now and then.
Steve Jones: This is the last time I'm going to have you both, so I'm going to take advantage of it. Let's see how well you've got to know each other over the last two years, with the Mr and Mr Farewell Edition. Lando, I'm going to start with you. I asked Carlos what he'll miss most about your head. Did he say your cheeky smile, your bushy brows, or your chinchilla grin?
Lando Norris: What's the difference between my smile and my grin?
Steve Jones: A big, big difference. With a smile you can see the teeth. The grin is more cheeky.
Lando Norris: The grin, then.
Carlos Sainz: No, no.
Steve Jones: Bushy brows, he said.
Lando Norris: They're not that bad.
Steve Jones: You've got lovely sculptured brows. Carlos, I asked Lando what he'll miss most about your head. Did he say your thick shag of hair, your come-hither eyes, or your plump lips? [Carlos points to his hair] Yeah, you got it. That thick shag of hair. What is it about the hair you like so much, Lando?
Lando Norris: The volume.
Steve Jones: The volume!
Carlos Sainz: We've had some hair issues, you know, sometimes that we need to sort out.
Steve Jones: Carlos, I asked Lando what activity he would most miss with your good self. Did he say romantic walks in the rain in the paddock, or watching him fail to impress you at golf?
Carlos Sainz: The second one.
Steve Jones: It was.
Carlos Sainz: I didn't even know I failed to impress you. I thought I was impressive.
Lando Norris: No, the last time we went golfing…
Carlos Sainz: Did I fail to impress you?
Lando Norris: Yeah, big time. I was expecting big things.
Carlos Sainz: When we take it seriously…
Lando Norris: Oh, here we go.
Carlos Sainz: …when we go to a championship tournament, that's where I'm going to let my A game talk.
Steve Jones: Drivers, they've got to win. They always have to win. Lando, I asked Carlos what he will miss most about having you as a teammate. Did he say motivating him, because he struggles to get his butt in gear? Or the laughter, so much laughter, and that will stop the second he gets to Ferrari?
Lando Norris: I mean, it's probably the first one, but the second one's also true.
Steve Jones: It was the first one. He enjoys motivating you. Carlos, I asked Lando how Daniel Ricciardo will compare to you as a teammate. Did he say, "He won't be able to give me Spanish lessons"? Or did Lando just start crying, saying it's too soon, he doesn't want to talk about it now?
Carlos Sainz: I've seen him cry before about me, so it could happen. But I'll say it's the first one. It was the first one, Spanish lessons.
Steve Jones: It was the first one.
Carlos Sainz: El helicóptero no puede volar.
Steve Jones: I really will miss this. I'll say here's to your continued success for the rest of the season and with your new teammates from 2021 onwards. Chaps, thank you very much for all the time.

He went on to say "Name one driver that has finished school. No one"
My good friend Carlos did not suffer through his hatred for school and exams to be disrespected like this. Toto please shut up. You can acknowledge Kimi is fast, smart, nice or whatever without trying to act like he's the first to do everything. There's very easily accessible evidence to refute all these claims.
