Sign of Cancer and Misogyny

Can we talk about the fact that the dislike for the pop astro version of the sign of Cancer is literally so rooted in misogyny?

People paint Cancers as the worst sign of them all—being emotional, moody, needy, dependant, motherly. Placing the attribute of 'motherly' and the constant push to make Cancers weak is so deeply misogynistic (putting them in a place where women, in this case mothers, are the weaker link of society).

And then, after, when people don't fit the Cancer stereotype—when they're confrontational or aggressive or anything that stands out—people immediately push them back into 'emotional' roles and literally beat them down in every sense.

Seems to work in a similar way as misogyny, don't it?

Like, you people underestimate the fact that Cancers are literally built to be sleeper agents and soldiers.
