Deep House spin to a Classic Rap track. Dig in.
Basically a reggae version of Mr. Brightside.
21 year-old Ryan DeRobertis is a present-day funk animal. On this song, we finally get to listen to his intoxicating voice as he openly confesses his love for Degrassi's Fiona Celestine Arabella Coyne.
Get ready to dance to this track. Personally, the guitar gets us every single time. The song's music video is also quite entertaining although a tad ratchet with all these couples making out around the video's protagonist until he does find his beloved Fiona Coyne.
"Darling, wont you believe me? I'll love you till the records stop."
Stay funky. Stay Interesting.
This spin on Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me" is pretty darn addicting. Rhythmic and relaxing is how we'd describe the rework with its soft piano to its catchy drums.
Don't get caught. Stay Interesting.
A Duck Sauce throwback back to 2009. This jumpy, joyous song entitled "aNYway" which samples 1979 track "I Can Do It (Anyway You Want)" by Final Edition was the one that started it all for A-Trak and Armand Van Helden's disco house collaboration project. It's one of the happiest tracks around, and with Duck Sauce dropping a new LP entitled Quack on the 15th of April 2014 (on which this song is on as well as other old and new tracks), it seems like a perfect time to get into the disco rhythm offered to you by this DJ duo.
For your sexy time...
Notorious B.I.G.'s classic rhymes are rehashed with fitting new melodies from Flume. A timeless classic, Biggie Smalls' raps are given new life as part of a mashup in this exciting new album. Insanely addictive, this track is sure to liven up your day.
A throwback that elicits chills. It's just such a honest, unadulterated, and meaningful. The song imparts of such an important and wise piece of advice without sounding cliche or tacky. If only everyone could present ideas the way The Strokes do in "I'll Try Anything Once".
There's just something about the purity of having only a piano and lovely lady on a track.
New York, New York • Frank Sinatra
Tonight You're Perfect • New Politics
Danish alternative indie rockers New Politics's "Tonight You're Perfect" is a smooth, fun, and ever-enjoyable track from the band's latest album. With their sound being described as a blend of "punk, pop, and electronically-induced dance rock," it's no wonder that the music just has this distinctly likeable appeal. We love 'em. We hope you will too.
Stay perfect. Stay Interesting.
Fairy Tales | January Tape • Zimmer
New year, new tape, same old sound. Embark on a blissful musical journey, courtesy of Zimmer.
Stay blissful. Stay Interesting.
Here's a song for sleepy days and rainy nights. Johnny Stimson, with his powerful voice, has proven to be at the forefront of a new, modern-day soul. Peppered with dramatic breaks, and a slow but steady beat, this song does much with so little. SO. GOOD. indeed.
Stay good. Stay Interesting.
West Coast Slide • Work Drugs
We here at Interesting. Music are a perennially passionate and expressive bunch. This all the more applies to our sentiments on positivity and spirit; as such, happy and fun music are things we just can't get enough of. Take dream pop duo Work Drugs and their single "West Coast Slide," for example. With an upbeat, expressive, and honest-to-goodness sound that blends guitars and keyboards beautifully in its songs, the music of Work Drugs is simply fun to listen to. "West Coast Slide" is one such song that never fails to inspire visions of the endless summer of good times and fun almost everyone yearns for.
Stay fun. Stay positive. Stay Interesting.
