"Sometimes it’s best not to try and understand something. Magic is an interesting force that does not like it when people try to pry into it’s secrets even with those who can use it receive negativity when they pry too deep." She explained.
"So how do you understand magic than, if it doesn't want people to?"
highlyfunctioningdetective started following you
"Yeah, I uh, just prefer to stay here, and I’m not as wanted on Olympus. And I’m pretty sure opening a book wouldn’t kill you."
"I didn't say it would, I just think books are a waste of time."

"Okay, then what are you curious about?" Morgan asked casually.
He sighed. "The magic. It just seems impossible, but I saw it. I'm not used to this. I have no idea how magic works, and it frustrates me because I don't like not knowing something."

"Just a friend", she shrugged, looking away, trying to look natural and failing completely. She seemed shaken up? Christ, she thought she was going to be sick. “Nope. Nevah. Sorreh." She stood there awkwardly, nodding to herself with the broom tight between her fingers. “I’ll let him know the great and very clevah Sherlock Holmes came by and said hello."
He looked at her suspiciously. She couldn't be friends with Moriarty could she? "How about I see him myself? Is he around?"

She rolled her eyes, “I have not known anyone who has been made aware of things like magic to not be curious to know more or concerns…sometimes both."
"I might be a bit curious." He admitted.

Mira rolled her eyes. “Seriously, have you never opened a mythology book? Everyone has power over a different aspect of the universe. A majority of my people are full-blooded and were born; not exactly like me, but ability wise we are more or less the same. It’s really each persons personal preference on where they stay. Some keep to Olympus, some travel between there and Earth." She shrugged. “I’m not allowed there anymore, so I spend most of my time here."
"Most of your time? I don't prefer to waste my time on books. I have enough knowledge, I don't need a book to tell me something I already know."
Falcon chuckled lightly. "Guess so. T'snice t'be remembered, though." Placing his head in his palm, he blew out a bit of smoke. "How 'bout you n'I go out?"
"You must've really missed me. Well, I guess there's nothing better to do. Where?"

"Hmm." He wasn’t sure how to carry out the conversation, but he felt like he had to. She interested him too much.
"Something else on your mind?" She asked.
"There's always something on my mind." He replied.
"Awh, y'remembered." Falcon purred, rolling onto his side to face Sherlock.
"Well it was quite an unforgettable conversation." He replied. "Besides, I have a very good memory."
highlyfunctioningdetective started following you
"Yeah to send it somewhere else. But since it’s not harmful to the environment I didn’t see a point in wasting the energy to do that." She answered with a shrug.
"Hmm." He wasn't sure how to carry out the conversation, but he felt like he had to. She interested him to much.

That’s it! Sherlock Holmes! Finn would load the detective’s page on his phone, or that blog that made him look like a friggin’ genius - which he was. He’d try to get Jess to look at it and she’d push it away, annoyed and rolling her eyes. She wasn’t interested even a little bit.
Once, she recalled, Rudy had said: "Ye sure it’s a good idea, lookin’ up this bloke’s website after all the dead probation workers and cheerleaders burried ‘round? And the cat! That fuckin’ cat. I feel so bad about that, ye know! Fuckin’ cat…" Add to that the weird man with the case of money and nun Nadine a few weeks back and there were more than enough odd disappearances related to Wertham’s community center.
"No", she said, pressing her lips into a thin line and shaking her head quickly. “Jus’, the name’s familiar. A friend of mine’s a big fan, y’know?" She swallowed.
"Ah. Who is this friend of yours? You seem a bit shaken up. Have you been a client before?"
Her smile dropped into a scowl, she glared at him as her upper lip quivered. "How about I rephrase what i said then," she leaned in close to Sherlock, just one deep breath and they would be touching. "Get your nose out of my work, or ill break it off."
"Oh did I upset you? No, if your work involves committing crimes interesting enough, I have to solve it. That's my work."
highlyfunctioningdetective started following you
"Just walking, had to take a break from experiments because I could no longer see due to multicolored smoke. Place is currently clearing out right now." Morgan replied.
"Ah interesting. Couldn't you use your magic to get rid of the smoke?"
"Thought only borin' people got bored." He snickered lightly, canting his head.
"That again? You said that when we met." He rolled his eyes, an irritated expression etched on his face.
"Awh, gettin' bored?" Falcon chuckled lightly.
"I'm always bored." He answered.
"Clearly." She rolled her eyes, "But your life is in danger, like it or not, and I'm being paid a very handsome amount to keep you safe. I'm not gonna follow you everywhere. But at least tell me /where/ you're going, the next time."
"Fine." He said irritably. "At least you wont be everywhere I go."
