Photoshopping face ups and wigs on Sven in Photoroom. Why do I really love the corpse paint? I know my mom hates it and I'll probably get some pushback. But I think I'm gonna go through with it. Plus it'll work for his too light head on the body. Also for hair, red is totally his colour <3

So story behind the new doll Sven. Turns out the DIM Danbi I bought on DoA was this doll mislabeled. A secret head only sold with minimee female bodies. I'm a little disappointed since I really wanted Danbi. But I'm keeping this doll and loving him just the same. Afterall I bought my first bjd with out planning or knowing what he was, and look how spoiled Takuya is. So I'm sure as I'm getting to know Sven, I'll spoil him just the same.

In Progress: 1/4 Goat

The first Lighthouse Doll prototype is a 1/4 scale young goat, inspired by dolls in my personal collection who raise goats.

The goat has 27 parts (+ a pair of alternative ears) and stands at around 14.5cm tall to the top of the head.  Progress is positive so far, though the back leg mechanisms will be reworked as they're too slippery in their current state.

As it stands, the goat is planned to be cast in white, blond, brown, and black resins, though this is still to be confirmed.  There is no expected purchase price or release date yet.

For anyone looking for a beautiful, well-posing, plus sized doll body in 1/4 or 1/3, Blackship Doll is a new company that made an “Oil Painting Body”. The first presale ended, but Space Studio will be opening a second order sometime soon!

This is one of the best posing bodies I’ve gotten and I’m so happy I was able to snag the in stock one from the NY Doll Con and I preordered a tan one that’s coming in May!

Instagram has been my main doll social media since I got back into the hobby in 2021 and my main social media (if you don't count Dreamwidth) since I deleted "X" in 2024 (RIP Twitter)… but now Instagram has made hashtag search completely useless so I'm going to (try to) crosspost all of my doll photos here going forward. A while ago I purchased and licenced some anime streetwear artwork for Ryuuji. I finally got around to making a shirt for him with it.

I am out of control. I just grabbed an old school Migidoll Miho for $60. An absolute steal. I have been eyeing him since like 2007. Lucky for me my birthday is in a couple weeks and I can swindle the fam into helping with my doll purchases. They know the birthday drill by now.

And I don't think I posted here about the other doll purchase from the same seller. I have snagged a Soom Dillui at yet another amazingly good price. $140 full doll. Though I will be swapping the female body for a male at some point. I want a Dillui boy.

I can't wait to clean them up and give fresh new face ups. They are in need of some TLC from the looks of it.
