Elite Force Character Flaws
Chase
Chase was spoken to like he was an adult, an equal, or a computer from the moment he was born, so doesn’t know who he is without his bionics and being mission leader. He is arrogant and egotistical in an attempt to see important because he believes no one will keep him around if he’s not useful enough. His greatest fears are being replaced and being a failure. He can’t imagine his future self; assuming that he will die before he has a chance to grow old.
Skylar
Skylar didn’t have a stable upbringing, and spent years as a comic book character instead of an actual living being. Losing her powers for years was the worst thing that could happen to her because she needs her powers to be the character ‘Skylar Storm’. She feels like she doesn’t belong on Earth or on her home planet, the only place she could call home was Mighty Med, and now the Diaz family and everyone they loved are gone, and she isn’t surrounded by other superheroes anymore, so she looks like even more of a freak, weirdo, and outcast.
Bree
Bree is the scapegoat sibling. Everything is blamed on her for being too irresponsible and careless, but she’s just trying to find out who she is and what she wants to do with her life. She often has to put her family’s needs over her own dreams. Whenever she voices her opinions, her brothers, uncle and dad always made her feel like they didn’t matter. This leaves her resentful of the life she wanted to have, but wasn’t allowed to. Nobody cares nor understands and they expect her to suffer in silence.
Kaz
Kaz is more of a babysitter than a brother. Having 11 siblings, he was lost in middle, and constantly ignored, unless his younger siblings needed help with anything. His parents were constantly working to afford 12 children, his older brothers were both criminals, and most adults in his life labeled him as ‘dumb’ and ‘lazy’, so he didn’t have many role models to look up; hence his admiration for Tecton. Kaz worries his friends will grow tired of how annoying and selfish he is due to him being touch starved and ignored by everyone else in his life. His parents didn’t even notice when he moved out to Centium City, until people mentioned they saw him on the news to them.
Oliver
Oliver grew up with two very strict and demanding parents. His dad was serious, emotionally distant, and detached, while his mom was overprotective, controlling, and obsessive. No one comforted him about their divorce, and he was never given any time to process it. Horace was a better parent figure than either of them, and raised him after his Dad ghosted him and Mom became a supervillain, but when Mighty Med was destroyed, he lost his new family as well. Growing up, he and Kaz were very co-dependent on each other, but now they have the Elite Force, Kaz doesn’t need him anymore; leaving Oliver jealous, possessive, defensive, and resentful.
lab rats memes
i’m watching elite force and. i’m genuinely sad the whole thing was handled this poorly because the potential was there. the premise of these 5 super/bionic teens living together in a penthouse IS such a fun concept to me. like the fanfics write themselves. the chaotic energy. the daily scenes between them are so funny (even more entertaining than the missions if i’m being honest lol). the main problem here story-wise is that they basically killed the mighty med storyline, which deserved a third season - or even just a couple more episodes to wrap things up before re-introducing the trio in ef. also yes my man oliver is a creep in this. it’s not even the unfunny jokes, it’s that the writers made “weirdly obsessed with skylar” his whole character when it really wasn’t. make these tweaks and you have a perfectly fine show imo. but we got this instead. oh well. either way. i still like the group interactions and i think i deserved 3 seasons of it
my man got mike wazoskid on d+ he never wins😭
He is still cool evil uncle daddy Dougy
What I enjoy most about the Great Divide is how complicated it let's itself be. It's about a man who got famous from writing about the sadness of his upbringing, his town and the people in it. He commodified his trauma and made enough money of it to be able to leave. And yet leaving doesn't save him, the opposite. He misses his community so dearly, he wants the best for them, but it can never be the same again and it also isn't the same anywhere else. Staying or leaving, it's a push and pull and none of it will ever feel right and that's the divide he will have to live with for the rest of his life.
if only Gyatso had run away with Aang
okay so i was wondering what would the parallel universe ABC would look like in 2026 and instead of studying for my geometry exam i uh i did a doodle of them
i lowkey fucked up every aspect of anatomy ever and also bree does not look like bree but its okay its okay i kinda like how chase turned out and adams shirt is somewhat weird but its okay its okayyyy ahahahhaa
so parallel chase is the classic evil white boy
parallel bree is the popular girl
parallel adam is the peak performative male
ayyyy
I'm just saying, if you're going to worldbuild magic being a "raw, primal force, akin to and interweaving with nature itself" you gotta explain to me why animals don't use it
I know the normal answer is "they just aren't smart enough for it" but idk I've seen enough media where a character uses a spell in a moment of brain-off panic ilI feel like animals could probably stumble into a spell or two like, accidentally
Also how funny would it be to see a completely normal regular bear cast magic missile outta nowhere
Also there is no way ravens wouldn't figure out spells, tbh
They're smart fuckin birds, I believe in them
Either through observing or just figuring shit out ravens could 100% learn how to cast spells I'm sure of it
Dogs can also cast Magic Missile but every time they do the projectile is shaped like a bone or a stick and they chase after it
group of wizards who ask this in-universe, and after extensive study learn to their surprise that animals are casting spells all the time, just that their magic is so fundamental as to be unrecognizable to humans. turns out the only reason acorns grow on trees is because squirrels keep wishing for them.
Fandom so inexistent I gotta be 6th fanart this show ever gotten
Taylor!!
Old self vs new self but we add the gang
I think this is actually one of my favorite lab rats artworks i’ve ever made! I managed to make them look so happy and i feel like i really got their friendship across
Just love this!!!!!!
I have a lot of feelings about Douglas and Krane and even Giselle and the parallels between them. The Triton app imo is a metaphor for parent-child love or forced love, because the core of Douglas and Krane's character is that they both want love but also control and they're willing to violate people's autonomy to get it. Think of how the love a child has for their parent is all-encompassing and often times unconditional, and how it's socially acceptable to control your child's life, even your adult child. Yeah. There's a line in my WYPB sequel where Chase tells Douglas that creating someone doesn't make you their "family", and Douglas replies "you don't get to choose your family, that's what makes them family". Replace the word 'family' with 'love' and you've got the core motivation for Douglas & Krane. Thats why they still insist they love their children/family even as they do these awful things to them, because to them control and force is just part of a parent-child relationship.
i think when u clean your house it should stay clean forever. what do u mean i have to do it again
