I saw the post about the fic In Your Memory and I hadn't read it before and was so glad I saw your post on it since like you said everyone is hungry for fics in this fandom. And I was just wondering have you read Caught in a Thousand Strings by Thai_Tea_Addict? I'm seriously obsessed with it. Sadly none of my friends are in this fandom so I have no one to talk Hikaru No Go anything with. So I haven't been able to share my love for this perfect story with anyone else. Btw sorry for the rambling^^

You have no idea how much I love Caught In a Thousand Strings. Omg. I have friends in the fandom but they’re not obsessed-go-over-all-the-fanfics-however-bad-or-NoTP-it-is-because-im-hungry-and-no-one-is-with-me obsessed. Their investment in the fandom ends with AkiHika (which I like BUT THE IM OBSESSED WITH HNG ITSELF HUHU) oTL THANK YOU FOR EXISTING!!! HOLY SHIT. I’m sorry. I’m just so happy. Okay. Last: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Okay. I’m calm now. (You have opened the gates to hell. I’m sorry if this is not what you came for oTL)

Yes! I know and love CiaTS! One of the things I love about HnG is the heart wrenching pain; I am deeply moved by the idea and execution of how a life changes from the mere touch of another’s life and how sometimes we forget its importance :( People say “No man is an island” but we keep forgetting how much we affect people simply by existing and how deep this truth is (on that note, I am also deeply moved by the idea of a forgotten past affecting the present and the future.) With CiaTS, you get most of that too and they’re framed in a completely different scenario! (Arguably, you see this in other things too but HnG did it in a mix of poetic, childish, and painful that I am beside myself whenever I think about it; CiaTS does it with a poetic, dark, and painful mix.) Adding to the CiaTS, I just really love the angst and the character juggling!! I am also in love with the love and dedication and loyalty framed by their struggles, internal and circumstantial, that we keep on seeing. There are just a lot of things I love about it. I’m so sorry this reply went out of hand. 

As you can see, you don’t have to apologize for your “rant” because I am worse and now I’m so sorry. I know you read the fic so I’m probably preaching to the choir. Im so sorry :(
