My Coco cloak is DONE!!!!

Heres a little breakdown of how it goes together. I did use a pattern (AliceinCosplayland on Etsy!!!) but I also did a lot of alterations on the cloak myself to make it more accurate and to fully line it instead of hemming it. Im incredibly proud of it!

Today im tackling the hat and shoes 💪

Next project: Coco from Witch Hat Atelier!

Im starting with the white dress, I bought a pattern from AliceinCosplayland off Etsy!

When she said it was a difficult project that would take a long time and a lot of trial and error, she wasnt kidding!

These pleats took HOURS. I spent a whole day (roughly 10 hours) just ironing, and sewing, and screaming, and seam ripping, and ironing, and sewing again.

Then I had to gather by hand, which I hate... i usually cheat and use thin elastic then just cut it off but i figured id do everything proper this time lol

I even got a kit to make my own buttons so they all match! 4 down...uh...1000000 to go!

And heres where Im at so far!

Ive got all day tomorrow to keep working on it, so hopefully Ill have the sleeves done tomorrow!

And then...on to the cloak and hat!

(...and shoes, and leggings, and notebook, and brushbuddy, and and and-)

Some updates!

The dress is finished! I bought a pattern for the cloak today so I will be starting that tomorrow!

Ive also been working on a Qifrey cosplay for my partner, which is coming along nicely as well!

And I started on a couple palmquires! Im very much just winging it with these, so lets see how it goes lol

Qifrey and Coco

Been working on my next cosplay, Black⭐Star from Soul Eater!

Ive never made such a heavily styled and sculpted wig before so Ive been learning as I go but im really proud of how its turned out!!!

The pants were surprisingly easy, and im using this really shiny silver fabric over foam to make the metal accents so i dont have to paint anything and its working really well!!!

Starting on the top today, which shouldnt take long aside from the metal pieces 😎

I havent updated on my Blackstar cosplay in a while!

I finished the shirt and the thing on his neck! oh and the thing on the shirt is removable for easy washing!

And just today I made the shoes!

All I have left now is the gloves!

Updated manga CCS Clear Card Arc Tomoyo!

I've been unsatisfied with the original skirt I made and finally got fabric and remade the skirt! You can now see the stripes and the skirt no longer looks muddy. Last photo has a comparison of fabrics!

New Sakura cosplay is almost done! I need to add the little yellow/orange details on the side of the hat, make my gloves, and paint the pink details on my shoes, but the main outfit is done!

This cape is so much fun to wear i could honestly wear it all day lmao

Finally finished my ram cosplay. Won a little cosplay competition in him too. Gonna redo the Cape and the staff and make some actual shoes for him before I take him out again. I fear he may be my only cosplay this year because of how insufferable I'm being about him lately.

Im so intrinsically obsessed with how he's perceived as a villan by overwatch and by the fans of the game when all he ever wanted was to wrap his kind in bubble wrap so humans could drive themselves to extinction without draging them down too. He means so much to me and I'm so happy with how this cosplay turned out. Gotta make some upgrades but that's all fun.

Edward Elric Progress:

The coat is done!

The black jacket is nearly done!

All thats left is the white around the ends of the sleeves, and actually attaching the snaps to the back of the clasp cuz its just kinda pinned there right now lol

The wig is done!

I just need to pick up some red hair ties!

I have a pair of boots I'm using for costests, but I'll need another pair to add all the little extra stuff to! And I'll order a watch at some point too...maybe gold contacts too? hmm...

Fun fact: I am canon Ed height 😊
