One of the things we have to stay away in Ramadan is Gossip! Gossip is a form of pride. By gossiping you try to devalue others to increase your own value. Please remember, tearing people down will never build you up.
“Whoever does not leave off false speech and false conduct, Allah has no need of his leaving off food and drink.”
— Rasulullah ﷺ | Bukhari 1903
“Every deed of the Son of Adam is for himself except fasting – it is for Me and I will personally reward it.”
The month of Ramadan in which the Qura'n was revealed - a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.
— [Qura'n Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185]
“A blessed Suhur for the believer is dates.”
— Rasulullah ﷺ | Sunan Abi Dawud 2345
“Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and hope for reward, his past sins will be forgiven.”
— Rasulullah ﷺ | Bukhari 1901
"Whoever sends Salah upon me once, Allah will send ten upon him, and remove ten of his sins, and will raise him ten degrees in status."
Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Whoever loves this worldly life, will estimate its value, he will make himself a slave to it and it will humiliate him. And whoever neglects it, will notice his great value, it will humiliate itself for him.”
Tawakul, Yakeen, Sabr & Shukr — all you need to fix anything or everything.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, enrich me, give me health, grant me sustenance and raise my rank
Rasulullah ﷺ said:
"Among the inmates of Hell, a person who had led the most luxurious life in this world will be brought up on the Day of Resurrection and dipped in the Fire and will be asked:
'O son of Adam! Did you ever experience any comfort? Did you happen to get any luxury?'
He will reply: 'By Allah, no, my Rubb.'
And then one of the people of Jannah who had experienced extreme misery in the life of this world will be dipped in Jannah. Then he will be asked:
'O son of Adam! Did you ever experience any misery? Did you ever encounter difficulty?'
He will say: "By Allah, no my Rubb, I neither experienced misery nor passed through hardship."
— [Muslim 2807]
“I don’t know of a deed closer to Allah, Exalted and Majestic, other than dutifulness to the mother.”
— Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنه| Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 4; sahih (Al-Albani)
