Datu Pithou is the 4th prince of Nok. He’ll be the first person to say that he got lucky to be born into the royal family. Because honestly? He’d be in serious trouble otherwise. With little going on upstairs, Datu tends to sometimes come off as a it of an airhead or dummy. Although he does have moments where he does say intelligent things or ideas, they’re almost always glossed over because of the amount of bad ideas he has.

Datu has tried tutors and everything, but he just never felt like he understood things quite like his brothers or parents. Still, he struggled to find his place. Datu is a caring and compassionate man. For the longest time he felt rather lost. It wasn’t until he felt the pleasures of the flesh that he realized something he was good at.

Sex was a great way for him to pass the time, and he liked to think that his parents never left unsatisfied. However, Datu hopes to find someone who’ll care for him in less of a superficial level. Datu grinned as he heard the familiar voice. Datu winked at his older brother and let out a laugh. “Just sneak away from them silly! It’s not like they can run that fast with all that armor.” It had been an easy enough feat for Datu. He may not be the smartest brother, but he can be crafty when he needed to be. And the last thing he needed was some buzz kill guard telling him that he shouldn’t take the opportunity to go for a swim. 

Datu chuckled as he took his brother’s coat, beginning to strip out of his wet things until he was nude with nothing but the coat on. It’s not like he’s ever been shy about how his body looks after all. “Always looking out for me, huh?” he teased with a chuckle.

Ram does not answer the query, refusing to affirm Datu’s high opinion of himself with the promise of an increased allowance. The last thing any of his children needed? More riches upon the ones they already had. Ram’s own father very much believed in frugality and financial modesty, which he himself subscribed to. It seemed that quality skipped a generation with some of his children.

“You want to do something with me? Such as what?” he asks, almost annoyed at the suggestion. All of his children, Datu included, were adults not. What could any of them do with him that they couldn’t do on their own? “I am meditating right now. You are welcome to join me if you please. If not… do you have a serious question for me?”

Datu liked to think that he was conscious with the money he had. He was totally aware of how much he spent, and that it was a crazy amount. And as long as he acknowledges that, it’s okay...Right? Isn’t that how it works? Datu couldn’t help but to hum as his father finally spoke up. The annoyed tone slipping out.

He couldn’t help but to think of King Morris...How his kids likely would do anything for more time with their father. And yet here his own father was getting annoyed with him because he wanted to spend time with him? How uncool. 

“I’m totally down to meditate with you!” Datu said loudly, as if he had never heard of an indoor voice. Datu moved to sit down next to his father, having no idea what he was supposed to be doing. So just deciding to imitate his father. “So...What do we do now?” He totally didn’t get it.

The former prince of Dele had been walking along the edge of Danholm Lake when he caught sight of the other walking out of it. Almost immediately, he found himself intrigued. Datu once more nodded his head at the man’s other question. “It is! Not too hot, not too cold. Surely a man such as yourself can’t resist the temptation of a beautiful lake such as this one? Especially with me asking.” Datu joked with a playful wink.

At the comment of being a handsome man walking alone, the Hand slightly shrugged. “Well, who says I’m alone now, Your Grace?” he asked, trying to be cheeky again. “It’s a shame about your date. What man in his right mind would leave a beauty like you hanging?” The Hand offered his arm, to escort the other back. “Perhaps I can take you in…and help you…warm up?”

Datu chuckled and nodded his head. “I’ll try my best to remember. No promises though. I’ve been known to be quite an airhead and forgetful at times.” Datu said with a smile, and he couldn’t help but to preen under the man’s compliments. Datu immediately shook his head and pouted as the other asked for forgiveness. “No, please...Be as forward with me as you want, sir. I quite enjoyed it.” Datu assured with a smile as he gently touched the other man’s cheek as well. 

Datu hummed as he looked around before shrugging his shoulders. “I suppose you could not be. But if you’re not, they truly are a master of disguise.” Datu joked with a smile. Datu once again beamed at being called a beauty, obviously loving the compliments. He wrapped his own arms around the other man and nodded his head. “I think I would quite enjoy that, Lord Darreth. And I’d be more than happy to keep...Parts of you warm.” Datu purred with a smirk.

“I am Datu from the House of Pithou. I live in Nok.” Datu explained as he looked at the other man, noticing how handsome he was. “I’m surprised your traveling alone. I thought a handsome guy like you would have their man practically clinging to their arm.” Datu said with a laugh.

Darreth was on one of his walks along the coastline. It helped him clear his mind when there was a lot for him to take in during Small Council meetings. He had gotten better at keeping up with most announcements made, delegating the duties of the kingdom to its rightful titled lords. The coronation for Zakar would be a very big event, which meant a lot of planning was in order. The young Hand stopped in his tracks when he noticed a man walking out from the waters. He had a chiseled body and it looked divine coated in water. He smirked, realizing the other hadn’t brought a chance of clothes. “You should always be prepared when you go out for a swim,” he said with a chuckle.

Datu chuckled as he heard the other man’s words and shrugged his shoulders. He looked over said shoulders and saw someone he didn’t recognize. But hey, Datu’s always been great at making friends! “Well honestly, I wasn’t expecting to be wearing clothes. But my date cancelled on me, and I wasn’t going to let a perfectly good day such as today go to waste.” Datu said with a chuckle and a shrug of his shoulders. “So I’m totally not taking the blame on this one!”

Then duty called.

His eyes remain shut, not watching Datu as he takes a seat beside him. “If you are running your mouth, then you are not meditating,” the king sneers. “Why do I feel like you have to come to ask me for something, beta? I am not going to increase your allowance, if that is what you seek—”

Datu tilted his head as he watched his father after hearing his words. Truthfully, Datu had no idea how to meditate or what it accomplished. It wasn’t something the tutors focused on, and father always locked himself away when he did it. So to him? It was just sitting in a weird position.

“Well, that is a great point. I TOTALLY should get a bigger allowance. I mean, I am your favorite right?” Datu asked, his tone clearly playful and not serious. Datu then shook his head. “But I honestly just wanted to do something with you. When was the last thing we did something?” Datu asked the other with a tilt of his head.

He couldn’t wait to scare the hell out of his brother. When he got to his brother’s doors, he swore he could see the guards practically sigh in annoyance. But Datu wasn’t going to let that distract him from his important and vital mission. Datu grinned before suddenly busting into his brothers. “Surpris-ah!” Datu yelped as he suddenly found himself tripping over his own feet, his own jump scare causing him to practically stumble and face plant near the bed. “Well...That didn’t go as planned.” Datu giggled.
