[KARA TUTORIAL] How to make a Show Champion account!
☆ Why you will need it: To vote for KARA on Show Champion! This was Mamma Mia’s first music show award win, lets make it CUPID’s too!
***You can sign up either on your PC or on your phone. It did not work for me on the PC but I can show you all how to at least get through the first few steps on the PC.
☆ STEP 1:
→ Go to the Show Champion site! From here follow the pictures to get to the sign up page:
☆ STEP 2:
→ Now you just fill out your personal info and you’re finished. A confirmation page will appear if you successful. If you are not it will just redirect you to the MBC homepage. Also, as a tip, type in the letters in the Capche code as capital letters.
Now here is how I successfully made an ID through the mobile site:
☆ STEP 1:
→ Go to the MBC Mobile Site and follow the following pictures:
Click all the boxes so they turn blue!
Fill out all your information!
When you are done a blue box should pop out that looks like the one below. From there you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

There are two things I like to see in female groups: diversity and growth, and those are something I think KARA has been able to portray in it’s 8 active years. They have created their own identity apart from the normal concepts.

☆ Why you will need it: Downloading and streaming songs will help KARA on the charts! ***For this tutorial I will be downloading and streaming KARA’s 6th Mini album, Mamma Mia! Just to show you guys how its done, and so you will be able to go right ahead and buy their 7th Mini album as soon as it comes out!
Go to the search button and type in 카라 to search for KARA’s albums!
A window like this should pop up next. Please choose the second option to start downloading:
Your songs will begin to download automatically! To watch their progress, follow the steps in the following pictures:

→ When your songs are done downloading it is time to start streaming! Do so by following the steps in the pictures below:
[KARA Comeback Tutorial!] How to buy a melOn pass (iOS version)
☆ Why you will need it: To help download and stream on the melOn chart for our girls!
☆ Step 1:
→ You’ll have to go to iTunes for this first step. The melOn app is only available in the Korean iTunes store so this step is very important!
I did this tutorial on my iPhone 5C but it should work on every apple device in the same way (iPhone, iPad) Start by going to the iTunes store and scrolling to the bottom and pressing on “Apple ID: Your Apple ID” and then following the steps of the pictures below:
Now, the next step to this (I have not screen shot it to protect my personal information) will be to choose your province and a Korean postal code. my suggestion would be to set your province to Seoul and then use the postal code 158-867! It worked for me and I didn’t have to change my street address or anything else. When you are done your screen should look like this:
The iTunes store will probably automatically change your store for you and a message like this should pop out on your screen:
Just click “Change Store” and you will be all set!
☆ Step 2:
→ Now you will have to find the melOn app! Go to the app store button on your phone and type in Melon or 멜론!
☆ Step 3:
→ Now you have to sign in with your melOn account. If you do not have one please go here to find out how to make one!!
A box like this will probably appear and direct you to Safari. Its normal, just go back into the App!
☆ Step 4:
→ Package options! Here is where you will actually be buying the packages to be able to download the songs and stream them. Please be aware that these packages only last 30 days.
Packages:
i-스마트 프리티켓: $8.99 USD - This package will allow you to ONLY STREAM ONE SONG ON YOUR PHONE. This is not the recommended package because the download does not even count as a download and its basically a waste.
***i-MP3 30 플라스: $9.99 USD - This package will let you purchase 30 songs within 30 days. The songs you purchase can also be transferred to your computer and other devices. This is the recommended option because it is second cheapest and the streaming/downloads do count.
i-MP3 50 플라스: $12.99 USD - This purchase will let you purchase 50 songs within 30 days. The songs you purchase can also be transferred to your computer and other devices.
i-MP3 100 플라스: $15.99 USD - This package will let you purchase 100 songs within 30 days. The songs you purchase can also be transferred to your computer and other devices.
☆ Step 5:
→ Purchase your package!
Please buy what you can afford! But please note, the first package option does not count towards the charts and the purpose of doing this is to help KARA on the charts!
