a girl is an abyss a knife still wet with murder no angels left in her don’t you accept that bloodied hand.

thinking about “even statues crumble if they’re made to wait” and “i’m getting tired even for a phoenix, always rising from the ashes”
Hey (with the intention of finding myself running home to your sweet nothings)
hey, you know what else is a manifestation of lyanna’s warging abilities? the tourney at harrenhal! imagine a 14 year old girl beating three (3) grown knights at a joust! you know what critical skill is needed in jousting? horse-riding! i’m pretty freaking sure lyanna was not riding falyse during the joust or else that would have given her away! so this was some other horse they got for her! and she was able to bond with this horse in record time for the tilt, so that it obeyed her commands and her body language and helped her win! all without actually training for this kind of sport because i don’t see how lyanna was able to train for jousting at winterfell! do you see what i’m getting at, hmm? do you see where i’m going with this??? besties do you see my vision??? do you see wh
falyse, after smelling the stench of some other horse on lyanna when she visits her after winning 3 rounds in the joust:
you know what i keep thinking about is how absolutely furious lyanna was about being crowned queen of love and beauty at harrenhal because not only was that entire thing very awkward and put her in such a weird position, it also made her all the more anxious about the fact that rhaegar knew she was the knight of the laughing tree, and he was publicly acknowledging her for it despite her asking him most likely not to say a word / give a hint to anybody.
also, if u think dying lyanna stark would waste her breath to tell ned she’s naming her son aegon or jahaerys or w/e bs name the larger fandom thought she whispered, ur absolutely dead wrong
#ooc: via rambles#aegon??? srsly??? after elia already has a kid by that name???#the utter disrespect#if she even did whisper a name it was not a targaryen name#per my portrayal the only time jon will have a targ name is in verses where#rhaegar is alive and is king bc then lyanna would not have much of a say#bubbles and i had this all mapped out#i just rly hate that the show did that like???#they literally just gave up and wrote whatever
modern lya would read those trashy romance novels with half naked people on the cover.
also putting this out there while my two brain cells are still rubbing together but…
lyanna is generally a good person, but she is also the type to 100% return the energy she is met with. so if you’re good to her, she will be good to you. if you display unwarranted attitude towards her, she will do the same. lyanna will bite when provoked, both literally and figuratively. she also steals from smugglers when she knows she can get away with it. in short, her morality is somewhat on the lighter side of things, but it is not inflexible at all. she can be persuaded towards violence and some not-so-petty theft.
re: lyanna's death, i don't think she died soon after after giving birth. i think her cause of death is most likely puerperal fever. she likely caught an infection while giving birth due to the unsanitary birthing conditions and had maybe a week tops with her child before she succumbed to it.
that being said, in survival verses, she would not have contracted the fever, but whichever way she goes (either to the free cities or if someone were to take her away and hide her somewhere else) she would need A LOT of help getting from the tower of joy to wherever it is she ends up in.
also, women under 20 who give birth (i'm glaring at u grrm) are at greater risk of complications, so suffice to say that lyanna's labor was long and hard, and she probably suffered some significant blood loss. post-pregnancy, i think she would have suffered from temporary anemia for a few years, and it would eventually go away as she got older.
