“ * I saw you pass by a few times in the past hour or so... you lost or looking for something of the sort?”

sans stopped in his tracks, looking at the other. what a strange fellow. she probably only wanted to help, but he knew the road more than her – he supposed.

“ * Well, unless you want your pants full of snow, be my guest and try it...”

[ * She shrugged slightly and looked up from her map. She’s seen him walk past here before...she just hasn’t said anything before until now. Pupil smiled faintly at the skeleton and leaned her head on her hand, then saying,]

“ * I’m not an expert or anything, but there is a way through the trees a bit...but I wouldn’t go through there either.”

[* Lucida tensed. The possible dangers of this potential storm was enough to make her shudder! In fact, she did. She shook in her little boots as she approached the stranger.]

* Th-that would be bad!

* Do you need help? I wouldn’t feel right leaving you to the mercy of this terrible storm! 

[* She had glanced down at vendor, worry starting to etch itself into her face. What if this nice monsters wares got blown away? She’d lose everything that’s what. Lucida wasn’t going to let that happen. Not that she knew the area enough to help guide this poor lady somewhere safe. But she was determined help however she could.]

[ * The fact that the other asked if she needed help, made he smile warmly. She would’ve accepted...if her vendor cart wasn’t the issue. But maybe, the other would like to stay in with her. The cart is actually surprisingly big, so it would be no issue if the storm did pick up. ]

“ * Well, thank you for the offer, but I got to stay and watch my shop”

“ * Although, if you’re in any worry of getting hit by the horrible weather on your way home, you could just stay by until it dies down.”

[ * Pupil was a very welcoming person...when she needs to be. Plus, a little company wouldn’t hurt would it?

sans, with his eyes traveling along the environment behind pupil, had his shoulders slightly elevate, only to lower. he finally looked back to pupil, and chuckling. well, it was more of a mixture of a snort and a laugh. sans pushed his hands deeper within his jacket’s pockets, and he began to respond.

* heh, you like those jokes? hey, i’ll throw you a bone! i’ll hang around, give you a bit more skele-puns. i’ve got nothin’ better to do.

within nothing to cover his feet other than slippers, and tube socks, sans wiggled his toes. he couldn’t feel his toes, maybe it was because he was cold, or maybe he couldn’t feel anything because he was a skeleton. oh. the puzzles. sans had forgotten all about those. papyrus has been setting those up all over just to catch a human, right? yeah. that was it.

* all on my brother. i would pitch in, but im more of a jumble kind of guy. hes been tryin’ to catch a human, but no luck. but, i feel like he can do it. just gotta get his spirits up.

sans finally removed his hands from his pockets, a single hand reaching up for his jacket’s zipper. he pulled it down, but not enough to completely unzip it. with the other hand, he reached into the space between his chest and the jacket fabric, and he pulled out a ketchup bottle. after pulling it completely out of his jacket, he zipped it back up, flipped the cap off the bottle, and chuckled. he tilted his head back, and squeezed the bottle- drinking it like it was a sports drink.

“ * I suppose your jokes are very humerus. ”

[ * The one-eyed monster again cracked a small laugh. Pupil wasn’t always the one for making jokes, (he did seem more experienced than her anyways). Although, she had to admit, she could use a good laugh after long days of sitting and usually waiting most of the times. As well, company wouldn’t hurt at all either. There wasn’t anything else better to do anyways. Pupil leaned herself across the countertop that was separating her and the smaller skeleton; giving herself a more relaxed position to hear the other speak, and when he finished, she replied soon after. ]

“ * Ah, so it was you and your brother of yours who made those puzzles...huh. I’m wondering if you wouldn’t mind me looking at them sometime soon...it’s kinda what I do and all. I won’t break’em trust me. ”

[ * Her reply was very casual if anything, she liked this guy...he had that likeness perk and as well, Pupil’s interest peaked even more when he ate straight from a ketchup bottle. Hey, she wasn’t judging at all, weird is what makes us unique right? She merely just chuckled at the sight of him doing such an interesting gesture. Oh– she didn’t even properly introduce herself.]

“ * Oh forgot to mention, the names Pupil, I’m usually around, I just like to move from place to place a lot. It’s apart of the job and all.”

“ * I wouldn’t go that way if I were you.”

[ * Pupil states in a cautious tone, but manages to keep the easiness in her voice. She didn’t even have to look up from a map she was reading at the other to know that they were going the wrong way. Well not the wrong way, but a very difficult way. ]

“ * There’s lots of snow build up or something or other, you might have to wait till it somehow melts.”

sans tightened his grip on his hoodlaces, just as his footsteps got deeper and deeper within the hard snow. just earlier, snow had poured onto san’s head, but sans still had not pulled his hood over onto him. sans caught a glimpse of a figure, and stopped just before he passed. he flashed his eyes towards pupil, and let his hands drop from his hoodlaces. he stuffed those bony hands back into his pockets, and chuckled. there, a skeleton with a sharp grin faced a one-eyed figure.

* i’d have to agree. snowstorms? snow-way!

sans laughed at this.

* don’t worry about me, buddy. walkin’ down in here brings snow much fun. it’s always n-ice to get a breath of freezin’ air.

two large cyan pupils stared back at a singular golden one, and a grin that just wouldn’t fade. would it? no. not when he had snow much material for annoying papyrus.

[ * Oh Pupil knew exactly who this quite pun-filled skeleton was. Her golden eye widened slightly and then she let a small chuckle escape her mouth. He wasn’t bad really, those puns were pretty well presented. ]

“ * Ah I wasn’t wondering when I would be properly honored with the presents of your optimistic jokes, I would assume, Sans”

[ * Pupil knows every nook and cranny the Underground has to offer. Every house (and who lived in which), every sign, every tree, were all either on maps she has made or has found. She continued to speak on, her eye still met upon the skeleton. ]

“ * Aside from the weather, I do have to say, there has been a few numerous new puzzles popping about nowadays around here, would you happen to know the cause of that? ”

[ * Her voice had a nice and friendly, but calm tone to it. Pupil was the one who kept tabs on puzzles and how to solve them for any one who needed help passing by, although for a price. She knew Sans built puzzles with, who he assumed was ho brother, and she usually would solve them and keep a tab on them in her shop. Although, anyone could build a puzzle around here…so who knows. ]

* T-that would be bad yeah.. But, uh, so long as we stay near the path we should be okay, right? Its got to lead somewhere..

[* She wasn’t sure what to expect to fall down from this prison, but she suspected it probably wouldn’t be good.]

[ * Pupil stared at the other, the small smile still lingering on her lips. She looked the other up and down a good once or twice before breaking the odd silence she caused. He eye gave off a bright yellowish glint to it as she spoke. ]

“* Well, let’s say a storm did pick up into which you wouldn’t be able to see the path.”

“ * it’s dangerous you know, but no pressure or anything.”

[ * She was always the one to strike such weird conversations to get them near her little vendor, sometimes a nice heart to heart chat is nice and sometimes it leads to another buying something of hers. But sometimes not, which is fine, but she’ll know if they would come back or not. ]
