Any updates on when you'll open?

The lovely Captain and I both have work and responsibilities that take immediate priority - naturally - but that being said, the end of this week is looking good for us!

I know we’re an eclectic group of time zones, but is there any time in particular that people would prefer? Fri/Sat/Sun will be the day range we’re looking at.

sweet, thank you so much! and just to check/confirm some other stuff: 1) what are the profile word counts, if there's anything like that? i wasn't on the first iteration of hiotw (obvs) so idk what you may be expecting. 2) is there a predicted start date? super excited!

Hey, sorry for the late response (I suuuuck haha). To answer your questions:

1) For the freeform section, we look for around ~700 words. We’re pretty relaxed, though, so don’t worry if you end up writing a little bit less or tons more! As always, we’re just looking to get a good feel of your characters since the rest of the app is really simple. Hopefully, we’ll be able to release the profile information soon and you can get a head start!

2) We haven’t settled on a specific date yet, but I’m going to throw out there that we won’t be leaving it longer than a week from today before we officially open. I’m the only coder on the staff team, so I’m just doing my last bug checks and we’ll be releasing some more previews and information first, but then we’re all good to go!!

im sorry if im being annoying about this but how do we join? and if accepted how do you want the character info set up?

we’re not open quite yet, but to join you just sign up on the jcink site once we are open and then fill out all of the application information in the profile since we’re a profile app site! we’ll be posting some more previews soon so people can start getting their apps together before we open. i hope that answers your questions!

I’m not sure I quite follow your question, but if you’re asking if you have to join up with a friend, that’s not necessary! Anyone at all is welcome to join us (:

If you’re concerned about only having one half of a Jaeger team, no worries on that front either. We offer a co-pilot request thread that you can post in, or you can put up a wanted ad too!
