Omg, Nina! I heard it was your birthday or at least it was yesterday. I just wanted wish a Happy Birthday and that I hope it was a good one. I also wanted to say that you're one of my favorite people on tumblr and that even though i don't talk to you much, seeing you post things about Laurel and your wife, Eliza Dushku brings me joy. So keep being you, girl cause you're great! c:

It was such a great birthday! I normally am really excited about my birthday and don’t get me wrong this year, I was just as excited, but there was a lot of turmoil in my life when October rolled around. And that was something I’d never experienced, which really put a damper on the whole thing.

But it was such a great birthday. Hell, it was a good month. It just took a little time to get there. I mean one of my best friends got married. I turned 25. I started a new job. Everything is working itself toward clarity and goodness. It’s taking a little more time than I would like, but it’s working itself out.

Having Laurel in my life, having her community in my life, having people push back and hold me up when my life is a mess, that’s the solidarity here that really helps me along. I love you too. I love seeing people with Laurel Lance icons, even and especially now. It means we’re family. We love the same woman who would love us back, would think us so strong when we don’t feel like we deserve it.

But yeah, I’m never gonna stop posting about Laurel or Eliza. I just don’t have it in me to stop. <3
