Originally from Pierce County, Wisconsin, the Anderson family farm was getting pretty boring to Dawn and so she hitchhiked from Wisconsin to Los Angeles, California.
Dawn Anderson grew up on a dairy farm and was the only girl out of four boys. Her family were and still are Bible thumping Christians who don't understand exactly why she left the farm to head West.
Dawn knew she could make more of herself than just being a farmer and a future housewife... but in order to do that she had to find herself... and so, she headed to California in 1966.
She got a job at a clothing store in downtown LA called Hippie Hal's and she makes enough money to spend on herself and her small apartment.
Her saving grace is music, Dawn is a hippie at heart but on the flip side she's also a groupie.
Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Vanilla Fudge, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd are her favorite bands (and people) to listen to just to name a few.
Dawn has also had six on and off relationships with: Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath (They're definitely each others favorite), Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin (She's one of his favorites), Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin (He adores her), Roger Daltrey of The Who (She's also one of his favorites), John Bonham of Led Zeppelin (He's her favorite!) and Brian May of Queen (He's her second favorite!)
The first rockstar she had was Roger Daltrey. She was lucky to have even been pulled backstage that night and whisked away to a hotel by one of The Who's managers where she met Roger in the lobby surrounded by a bunch of other girls. He saw her and excused himself from the other girls and asked Dawn if she'd be up for a night of fun... and it was a night of fun that she never forgot.
She doesn't do hard drugs, she prefers psychedelics and weed but even then in small quantities. She prefers keeping a clear head. Dawn doesn't mind drinking until she's hungover in the morning though.
Dawn is adventurous, a free spirit and will try anything more than once with anyone so she can say that she's tried it. She would love to have a "night of fun" with the girls of The Runaways... just to try something that's new to her.
